Without any further ado, here’s my list of some intriguing 2025s in Louisville to watch for.
rnAt the top of my list of notable performers is Cortez Stone Cortez Stone 5’10” | 170 lbs | RB Louisville Central | 2025 State KY , a running back at Louisville Central High School. What impresses me the most about Stone is his size and speed, utilizing his athleticism to withstand heavy pressure in the pocket and blast into the backfield. I also like how Stone can pick up speed and create excellent seperation, showing off his electric quickness and ability to consistently take it all the way to the house. Another aspect of Stone’s playstyle that stands out is his ability to shake tackles and dodge and weave the opposition, utilizing his versatile edge to prolong the play and put his team in a strong field position.

rnI am additionally impressed with Cameron Jessee Cameron Jessee 6’2″ | 230 lbs | ATH Louisville DuPont Manual | 2025 State KY , an athlete at DuPont Manual High School. What makes Jesse so impactful is his athleticism and ability to be disruptive defensively. Jessee can apply pressure on and sack the quarterback, showing off his quick execution and durable edge. I also like Jessee’s ability to overwhelm the defense in coverage, pick off the gunslinger and make commanding stops. Another aspect of Jessee’s playstyle that impresses is his ability to chase down the quarterback and consistently shut down the run game.

rnClaiming the number three spot on my list is Ben Stotts Ben Stotts 6’5″ | 305 lbs | OL Christian Academy Of Louisville | 2025 State KY , an offensive lineman at Christian Academy of Louisville. What makes Stotts so impactful at the line of scrimmage is his awareness and ability to block the defense both in the pocket and along the edge, utilizing his strength to give his teammates time and space to push into enemy territory. I also like how Stotts can consistently absorb pressure in the pocket as well as plug openings to protect his quarterback and prolong the snap.

What makes Hodge so impactful is his electric speed off the snap and ability to create seperation down the stretch, showing off his athleticism and playmaking ability on the offensive end as a receiver. I also like how Hodge can utilize his speed to quickly adapt to the pass and attack the ball in the air to haul in challenging touchdown passes. Another aspect of Hodge’s playstyle that impresses is his ability to catch the short pass from along the edge and break tackles en route to the house.
