Cohen Wright
Cohen Wright
Coming in at a very projectable 6’1″ 195 lbs frame and being able to run a 4.81s 40 yard dash time, Cohen is someone who stands out in all of the facets required of playing the quarterback position. Cohen has the arm talent to make off platform throws as well as the ability to change his arm angle on any given play if he needs to. Cohen also has very good arm strength to make every throw on the field at all three levels while also being able to change the velocity of the ball depending on what type of throw is required to complete the pass. Cohen was also exceptionally accurate this past season completing 84% of his passes for 1535 yards and 25 touchdowns which are rare numbers for a quarterback coming out of Canada. He also has very good pocket awareness and shows the ability to climb the pocket as well as being able to relocate and reset the pocket instead of just taking off and running at the first sign of pressure. Cohen has all of the physical tools and traits required of a quarterback to be successful at the Division 1 level.

Benjamin Falkowsky
Benjamin Falkowsky
Benjamin Falkowsky is the type of player who has all the traits and tools to be someone who can make an impact all across the offense. Listed at 5’11” 175 lbs, Benjamin shows dynamic run after catch ability combining with an ability to win on routes at the catch point as well as using his speed. He is an elusive ball carrier thanks his herky jerky running style that makes it hard to get a clean tackle to bring him down, the biggest asset is his field vision as a ball carrier as he tends to see lanes before they develop and he shows the willingness to run into the middle to get the tough yards that every offense requires. He is not just a really good offensive weapon but he’s also an exceptional in the return game as he combines all of his tools to the best of his abilities and it really shows as he finished with 1244 all purpose yards and 16 touchdowns. He projects to be someone who can become a dynamic slot receiver and return man at the next level.

Pasquale DelMonaco
Pasquale DelMonaco
Pasquale DelMonaco is the best true wide receiver prospect coming out of Calgary this year and one of the best in all of Alberta for the class of 2024. Listed at 5’11” 170 lbs, Pasquale lined up this past year primarily as a X receiver for St. Francis which allowed us to see that he has an elite initial burst off of the line. Despite only running a 4.83s forty yard dash the power that Pasquale draws from his lower body to have a great initial burst which also shows that he has the potential to use the lower body power to gain additional separation when he comes in out and out of breaks if he were to run his routes by dropping hips faster and with more fluidity. One big key trait that is certain to make him even more attractive to recruiters is his ability to stalk and down block in the run game with consistency. His willingness to go to the hard areas and stalk block with regularity even though he has all of the tools to be a standout wide receiver show just how high his effort level and willingness to win is. Pasquale has the physical and mental tools that should allow him to get on field at the university level.

Jared Meyer
Jared Meyer
I wasn’t expecting to have Jared on the list as a top prospect in Calgary when I saw that he is only a 6’0″ 150 lbs receiver with production that would match that of a third or fourth passing option but I was pleasantly surprised. Jared lined up primarily as an X receiver during his senior season but when you turn on the tape you immediately notice that this is a player who projects as an immediate rotational slot receiver at the college level. Jared is not a dynamic athlete but he is such a savvy route runner as he uses elite field vision to be able to change his route based on the leverage point of the defense back as well as being able to always find the soft spots in zone. He also has the ability to win at the catch point as he always goes and gets the ball once it’s in the air instead of waiting for the ball to come to him, which is a key trait if he is going to be a slot receiver. He also possesses my favourite trait which is the ability to consistently want to stalk block in the run game which is something recruiters also desire. Despite needing to put on weight to play at the college level Jared posses all the tools to one day become a starting slot receiver at the next level.

is someone who based on his senior season tape can be recruited at either defensive tackle or offensive guard. I like Caden more as a guard because despite playing left tackle for the entire season he displayed a pass protection feet of a very high end guard as his pass set is very fluid and angled to what a high end offensive guard does combined with a very good ability to sink his hips to anchor in pass protection. Caden is also a dominant run blocker who displays his high end compete and strength to get downhill quickly on defensive lineman while also pushing downhill to block the second level linebackers. As a defensive line prospect Caden has the ability to play all across the defensive line in multiple fronts due to his strength, 5.22s forty yard dash speed and his high end compete. The one area he can improve on at defensive tackle is playing lower off of the snap as he tends to shoot up and become too upright off of the snap which would lead to him not accessing all of his lower body strength that’s needed of a dominant defensive lineman, on top of being susceptible to higher level offensive lineman being able to get underneath him and just control him to open up running lanes. With all of that said Caden is someone who should heavily recruited at the defensive lineman position as his upside his very high but I believe his upside is even higher as an offensive guard at the college level.
