Alfredo Andrade Alfredo Andrade 5'6" | RB Gadsden | 2025 State NM , Gadsden: Much like the Panthers, Andrade has been on an upward trajectory since joining the Gadsden varsity in 2022. He rushed for 460 yards as a sophomore and 883 yards as a junior in 2023 when he averaged 7.7 yards per rush.
Cheeto Lumbrera, La Cueva: Lumbrera was a postseason superstar for the Bears, rushing for a combined 368 yards and 8 TD in the wins over Farmington, Las Cruces and Cleveland. Lumbrera goes into the 2024 season as La Cueva’s established No. 1 RB and should get enough carries to eclipse 1,000 yards.
Camon Ochoa Camon Ochoa 5'8" | 155 lbs | RB Lovington | 2025 State NM , Lovington: Ochoa is a two-way standout for the Wildcats, who are moving up to Class 5A. Ochoa rushed for 742 yards and 9 TD on 113 carries in 2023. With prolific QB Wyatt Gomez Wyatt Gomez 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lovington | 2024 State NM graduating, Lovington might run the football a bit more in 2024. If that happens, Ochoa will benefit.
Bobby Parraz Bobby Parraz 5'8" | 150 lbs | RB Loving | 2026 State NM , Loving: Just a sophomore, Parraz has already put together two solid seasons for the Falcons, rushing for 1,500 yards and 10 TD. In 2023, he rushed for 926 yards on 111 carries. Just a matter of time before he eclipses 1,000 yards.
Cannon Walton Cannon Walton 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Raton | 2025 State NM , Raton: After rushing for 780 yards and 13 TD as a junior in 2023, Walton is ready to continue the family business of running the ball with flair in 2024. He had 173 yards rushing in Raton’s quarterfinal matchup with St. Michael’s, showing what he’s capable of every week.
