919/252 HS Showcase Bowl – Offensive Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I covered the game which matched high school seniors from the 919 and 252 Regions. The teams engaged in a defensive battle throughout the game. The 252 Team generated enough offense to secure a 16 - 10 victory. HS</strong>. Keveon displayed good arm strength on the few passes that were completed. He displayed good balance and power when he tucked it and ran to gain yards. He was able to gain additional yardage after the initial defender made contact with him. Keveon was selected as the Offensive MVP for the 252 Team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jeremy Eatmon - OL, 6'2" 260, Hunt HS</strong>. Jeremy displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed good ball velocity and accuracy on throws on target to the receivers. He displayed upper body strength and quickness to drive block defenders out of the play. He displayed sure hands while making catches in traffic. He had a dominant performance against the defensive secondary. He did a good job of using his body to shield defenders while making catches in traffic.
