Caleb Smith Caleb Smith 6’5″ | 245 lbs | DL Paker | 2025 State AL was one of the several incredibly talented defensive prospects that played for Parker’s legendary unit this fall, and throughout his junior season, he seriously impressed us with his play. Smith is destructive in the trenches, plays with some fantastic speed despite how large he is, and is able to impact opposing rushing/passing games in a variety of different ways. Smith is an absolute monster against the run and is able to set the edge extremely well- all throughout the season the year he demonstrated an elite ability to shed blocks, contain, and make plays against the ball carrier. With that kind of play, Smith hasn’t gone unnoticed by the next level- he’s picked up offers from some top tier programs like Louisville, Georgia Tech, Tulane and more! Keep an eye on him his senior year, with other stars like Jeremiah Beaman Jeremiah Beaman 6’4″ | 265 lbs | DL Parker | 2024 State AL graduating it’ll give Smith more snaps to showcase his dominance.
Kamarion Peete Kamarion Peete 6’2″ | 205 lbs | LB Daphne | 2025 State AL is an incredibly talented linebacker that just wrapped up his first year playing high school ball here in Alabama at Daphne. Peete, a transfer originally from Arizona, made some unbelievable plays throughout the games he was able to play in this season. Peete can fly around the field and is a tackling machine- he’s able to make some plays that just make you say “wow”, it doesn’t matter where he starts off on the play, he’s going to find himself near the ball, making plays or an impact on opposing offenses. Peete had a fantastic junior season where he was able to record 40 total tackles, 2 sacks, and a fumble recovery in just 6 games. With the kind of play and production he’s shown this year and before his transfer, Peete has been a highly recruited prospect over the last few years-picking up offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, and more!
Sidney Walton Sidney Walton 6’2″ | 185 lbs | DB Moody | 2025 State AL is a incredibly talented defensive back for Moody and had a fantastic breakout season for them this fall, solidifying himself as one of our top DBs in our 2025 Rankings. Walton is an excellent player that can equally impact the run and pass and has shown a ton of potential recently- his size, athleticism, instincts, and hands are all great and he has a lot of skills in coverage as well as pursuing after the ball carrier. On tape, it’s clear that Walton is an excellent man-to-man corner- he never gets beat off the line of scrimmage, has the ability to quickly read and react to his matchup, and has the hands to consistently break up passes and make plays on the ball as well. Walton as mentioned earlier, had himself a really big year that led not just us, but plenty of schools across the nation to notice him as well. In the last few months, Walton has picked up a lot of attention from the next level, listing offers from some terrific programs like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and more.
Nikolas Alston Nikolas Alston 6’3″ | 260 lbs | DL Spain Park | 2025 State AL is an unbelievable force on the interior defensive line for Spain Park was able to really produce a ton for them his season. Alston is a dominant defensive tackle- he’s a huge guy with some impressive speed and pursuit, but what is most impressive is how fast and aggressive he uses his hands. It doesn’t matter who he’s lined up across from, with those traits he’s near impossible to block and is able to make play after play in the backfield. On the season, Alston had himself a really good year, recording 37 total tackles (4 for loss), 3.5 sacks, 15 hurries, and two fumble recoveries. With that kind of play, Alston has picked up a lot of different offers over the last few months- he currently lists them from Colorado, Georgia Tech, Troy, among some other great programs- keep an eye on him over the next few months and that list should grow some more!
Justin Godwin Justin Godwin 5’11” | 175 lbs | DB Chilton County | 2025 State AL is a super impressive DB that made some massive plays all year long for Chilton County. Godwin has a lot of athleticism and is really versatile, he has some great speed, moves very fluidly, plays with a lot of physicality by delivering big hits, and can break on the ball to make some fantastic plays in coverage as well. Godwin was phenomenal in all aspects for Chilton County this fall, on the season he ended up recording 75 total tackles (8 for loss0, 5 interceptions, 16 pass breakups and 3 forced fumbles. It doesn’t matter what his assignment is, he finds a way to excel and make plays regardless of who has the ball in their hands. Godwin had himself a heck of a year and really made a name for himself, keep track of him as he heads into his senior season- he’s sure to make some big plays and with the kind of potential he has, he may have some offers headed his way soon too!
