One position that is never at a shortage for talented prospects in Texas is the quarterback spot. The class of 2025 has an impressive number of talented quarterbacks to keep an eye on next season. We are going to look at several signal callers to keep an eye on in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='432066' first='Chad' last='Warner']-Quarterback-Steele-6'3” 180-Pounds

The Steele signal caller had an impressive 2023 football season. Warner is a prospect that can pick opposing defenses apart with his arm. Warner threw for 3,541 yards and 36 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Warner made great use of his legs rushing for 204 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season. He has the potential to have a big 2024 football season and he is a player to watch out for on the recruiting trail.

[player_tooltip player_id='721675' first='Christian' last='Nunley']-Quarterback-Conroe-6'3” 184-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='721675' first='Christian' last='Nunley'] is a versatile prospect that has seen playing time on both sides of the ball. Looking primarily at the quarterback position, Nunley is an athletic prospect that knows when to use his legs to buy time and extend the play. He does a good job of keeping his eyes down the field. Nunley looks to make the throw before taking off with the football. Nunley had a strong season in 2023 and I look for that trend to continue into 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='693110' first='Carter' last='Jones']-Quarterback-Lancaster-6'4” 195-Pounds

The Lancaster signal caller is a prospect that does a great job of using his strong arm to throw his wide receivers open. Jones is not afraid to stretch the opposing defense with the deep ball. He throws the football with impressive accuracy and will keep the defense honest with his throws. Jones is athletic enough to use his legs to pick up first downs and extend the drives. Jones is a quarterback to watch out for next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='921479' first='Ty' last='Hawkins']-Quarterback-San [player_tooltip player_id='1896734' first='Antonio' last='Johnson']-6'0” 185-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='921479' first='Ty' last='Hawkins'] does a great job of throwing the football with accuracy. Hawkins does a great job of connecting with his wide receivers and can fit the ball into some tight windows. He is a quarterback that knows how much time he has to make the throw while in the pocket. Meanwhile, Hawkins is a prospect that knows when to use his legs to extend drives and create big plays. Hawkins forces the defense to account for his arm as well as his legs. He is a player to watch out for over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='333979' first='Tate' last='Kirk']-Quarterback-Melissa-6'1' 195-Pounds

The Melissa quarterback does a great job of throwing the football with accuracy. The windows he can fit the football into are usually pretty small. Kirk does a great job of throwing his receivers open. He has a good sense of when to buy time in the pocket and when to escape. Meanwhile, he has the arm strength to stretch the field with the deep ball. Kirk is a prospect to watch out for next season.
