We have come to the end of the regular season here in the Sunshine State, and yes, it has gone way too quickly.

With the state championships and the Road To Tallahassee ready to get under way next week, we are now taking a look at the top 10 games of the regular season.

As some programs have already wrapped things up, there are others who have saved the regular season finale as a boost into the opening round of the playoffs.

Over the past 10 weeks, we have spent our Fridays checking out some of the top games to keep an eye on.

While we certainly are not professional game predictors, our amazing 80-20 record has been noticed and pointed out by fans, players, and coaches alike.

Here are 10 games throughout the state to keep an eye on for this week:

No. 14 Clearwater Central Catholic (1M, 9-0) at Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons (2M, 7-2). With both schools headed to the first round of the state playoffs, this matchup is indeed one that is worth keeping an eye on. The Marauders were state runner ups last season in 1M – while the Chiefs have won the state title in three of the past five seasons.

THE PICK: Cardinal Gibbons 28, Clearwater Central Catholic 24

Jacksonville Bolles (2M, 5-4) at Tampa Berkeley Prep (1M, 7-2). If you've followed high school football long enough, you already know that this is the time of year when the Bulldogs start to put things into gear as the state playoffs are right around the corner. They have had an up and down season. The Buccaneers believe that they can be a force in the state playoffs, and this home game can really be the forum for them to make an impact. Another quality matchup to usher in Round 1 of the state playoffs.

THE PICK: Bolles 27, Berkeley Prep 24

No. 21. Lake Mary (4M, 8-1) at No. 8. Daytona Beach Mainland (3S, 9-0). Easily the game of the week, pitting two quality teams who have enjoyed outstanding seasons this year. The defending 3S runner up Bucs have answered every bell this season and will use this matchup as a springboard to take them to the title game once again. The Rams have also been impressive, losing for the first time on the road in a thriller last week. Everything is set up for this to be a classic.

THE PICK: Mainland 27, Lake Mary 21

Lantana Santaluces (4M, 7-2) at Delray Beach Atlantic (3M, 8-1). Two programs that have flown under the radar this season and the Chiefs try and knock off an Eagles team that has been impressive and is looking to get that statewide recognition that many believe they deserve. Quality coaching and elite athletes on both sides of the ball will provide each team with an opportunity to get a huge boost heading into the state playoffs.

THE PICK: Atlantic 30, Santaluces 20

Live Oak Suwannee (2S, 6-2) at Starke Bradford County (2S, 9-0). Giving up 39 points all year, the Bulldogs needed a game like this to close out the regular season. The Bulldogs are loaded, and while Cocoa provides a major obstacle of winning a state title, they are rolling along and playing solid football on both sides of the ball. While the Bulldogs of Suwannee have lost two in a row, they have come against area rival Madison County (6-1) and unbeaten (10-0) Crawfordville Wakulla.

THE PICK: Bradford 23, Suwannee 12

Miramar (3M, 5-3) at Hollywood South Broward (3M, 8-1). These two district champions have been pointing to this game back in the spring. Both have made an impact – and while this is NOT a district matchup, these 3M programs have a chance to meet against in the state playoffs. The Patriots, who have had a major schedule this season, have been down this round before, so they are tested. The Bulldogs won their district for the first time in 26 years but have been in the playoffs recently.

THE PICK: Miramar 21, South Broward 20

Navarre (4S, 7-2) at Niceville (4S, 7-2). This is another of those games that could be the first of two meetings – as the Raiders are still in the clouds after a district tile – while the Eagles are reeling after dropping the district title contest to Lynn Haven Mosley. Both teams have shown that they are battle tested and ready for the playoffs. Each are well coached and have plenty of talent.

THE PICK: Niceville 28, Navarre 20

Palatka (2S, 7-2) at No. 25. St. Augustine (3S, 8-0). Breaking into the Top 25 this past week, the Yellow Jackets have certainly turned plenty of heads as a team that is loaded with talent, has great coaching and is ready to prove that this team is among Florida's best. For the Panthers who have qualified for the state playoffs, this is a major test that will be looking to bounce back from a district title loss to unbeaten Starke Bradford County.

THE PICK: St. Augustine 34, Palatka 17

No. 19. West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman (1M, 7-1) at Wellington Palm Beach Central (4M, 8-1). Another classic contest to close the regular season where the Crusaders and Broncos battle for Palm Beach County supremacy. Certainly, one of those games will be a springboard into the state playoffs. This is a contest that promises to be entertaining. If you are in the area, this is indeed one to catch.

THE PICK: Palm Beach Central 20, Cardinal Newman 17
