Regardless of classification, Ealy is one of the most productive players in the state of Mississippi . The kid put up some heisman like numbers this season, amassing over 2900 yards passing with 34 touchdowns and 1164 yards with 11 touchdowns on the ground. At times, the kid was a one man show, but also plays with one of the best receivers in the nation. He had a legendary game against their cross town rival, Forest, putting up 300 + passing yards, 178 yards on the ground with 4 total touchdowns and 13 tackles. His biggest attributes is in his slashing ability in the run game, and he throws a very good deep ball. Even with those stats, he will project as a safety at the next level. So far in his recruitment, He has a juco offer to East Central CC.

Being able to play multiple positions on the field, especially at running back, Watkins is one of the most dynamic players in his class . He has some very elite quickness with the ball in his hands as he’s going to make the first defender miss him every time he touches the ball on offense. He also is a very good defensive back that sticks to receivers like a glove. He has a knack of knocking the ball out at the very last moment on his pass break ups and just overall a very pesky defender. He can play safety as he did some this year in their defensive scheme excelling. Wherever you put this kid, point blank, he is going to make plays, even in the return game. This kid is a big time leader on and off the field for his team and just has a lot of maturity that you do not see much at that age. Due to an ankle injury, his season was cut short around the 8th game of the year. Look for this kid to come back stronger than ever and continue his winning ways. He currently owns 6 offers, but none are power 5 at the moment. He should garner some as time progresses as he proves some things in the off season that have question mark.
6’0 185 | Athlete | Hartfield Academy| 2025
Since his sophomore campaign, West has come on strong, showing major improvements. He has moved over to the defensive side of the ball and has been brilliant; picking off 4 passes and has made very highlight PBUs as well. On offense, he has been just as good or better as a deep threat/playmaker for his team, amassing 733 yards through 11 games with 11 touchdowns. He is a key cog in Hartfield success this year, as he has really been hard to beat at the corner position. He has worked on his speed, too. When he touches it you better be on your horses to catch him. Before this year, the question on Kenzy from just watching film was if he was fast enough to be a D1 kid. After watching him play this year, he has gotten faster for sure. The time that he puts down at camps this summer will dictate the attention he receives going forward, because he has proven that he is a big time playmaker. He currently holds one offer to Jackson State, but don’t be surprised if he opens some eyes and starts to get some attention from bigger schools.
De’Traun Brown
6’2 160 | Wide Receiver | Newton High School | 2025
Brown has burst on the scene out of nowhere this year. Season stats are 55 catches, 1002 yards, and 13 touchdowns. In any league, anytime you reach 1k yards, you can play. He does it in a unique way as he basically rebounds the ball over defenders, so I know this kid plays basketball. On film, he has shown to have some quickness in his game with his yards after the catch plays. He can contort his body well in the air, making straight acrobatic catches that he almost injures himself on. He has a nice burst off the line, nice hesitation release, and he has adequate speed; not a burner. It seems like he may be faster in person than on film and has average route running ability. He projects as a big “X” receiver on the next level. It even looks like he may get taller before he gets out of school or while in college. There are not many receivers in the state of Mississippi that go over 1000 yards in a season, so this is one to keep track of as his journey continues.
