The second of the Arkansas high school football playoffs brought it plenty of excitement on Friday night. Plenty of prospects from across the state of Arkansas had impressive showings on Friday. We are going to highlight several players that had excellent showings on Friday night. Let's start the new week on a strong note.

[player_tooltip player_id='193040' first='Graycen' last='Cash']-Wide Receiver-Rogers-2024

[player_tooltip player_id='193040' first='Graycen' last='Cash'] and the Rogers Mounties opened plenty of eyes throughout the course of the 2023 season and Friday night was not any different. The Rogers wide receiver had no problem getting open on Friday night. Cash hauled in 6 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. He has been a wide receiver that has done a great job all season of hauling in the big receptions in key moments. I look forward to seeing what the talented wide out does at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='221288' first='Isaiah' last='Taylor']-Safety-Fayetteville-2024

The Fayetteville Bulldog safety was all over the field for the Bulldogs on Friday night this week. Taylor does an impressive job of playing the ball while it is in the air. Taylor reads the quarterback well and has displayed the ability to pick off passes. On Friday night, Taylor racked up 13 tackles, had 2 pass deflections, and 1 interception. Taylor is a prospect in the secondary that always seems to be around the ball carrier. He is a player to watch out for at the next level in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='646023' first='Kevin' last='Williams']-Wide Receiver-Central Arkansas Christian-2026

Over the next couple of seasons, folks are going to become familiar with [player_tooltip player_id='646023' first='Kevin' last='Williams']. He has displayed impressive versatility playing the wide receiver position as well as in the secondary for the Mustangs. Williams shined on the defensive side of the ball on Friday night. He racked up 21 tackles and 1 pass deflection on the night. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball he hauled in a 38-yard touchdown reception. Williams is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='216278' first='Da'Shawn' last='Chairs']-Running Back-Elkins-2024

[player_tooltip player_id='216278' first='Da'Shawn' last='Chairs'] always seems to find a rushing lane. He displays great patience in finding the rushing lane and exploding through the hole. On Friday night, Chairs rushed 16 times for 167 yards and 3 touchdowns. However, Chairs hauled in two receptions for 8 yards and 1 touchdown. He is clicking on all cylinders as the postseason continues. Chairs is a player to watch out for as Elkins continues to advance in the playoffs.

Myron Thrash Jr.-Running Back-Bryant-2025

The Bryant Hornets always have talented running backs that can rack up the yardage on the ground. Myron Thrash Jr. fits that description perfectly. He is a running back that just gets stronger as the game progresses. The Bryant running back had 13 carries for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. He tacked on 1 reception for 10 yards on the night. Look out for Thrash Jr. as the playoffs continue.

Cade Bowman-Wide Receiver-Little Rock Christian-2024

Cade Bowman is a wide receiver that has a knack for getting open. He uses his crisp route running to create separation from opposing defensive backs. On Friday night, Bowman hauled in 8 receptions for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night. Little Rock Christian has played well all season, and they are a team to watch out for as the playoffs continue.

[player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson']-Quarterback-Central Arkansas Christian-2025

The Central Arkansas Mustangs have had a tremendous 2023 season. [player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson'] and the Mustangs have kept the momentum rolling with tremendous play in the playoffs thus far. Wilson had another impressive outing on Friday night against Nashville. Wilson was 18 of 27 for 308 yards through the air and 4 touchdowns. Meanwhile, he rushed 7 times for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='214836' first='Donovyn' last='Omolo']-Quarterback-Conway-2024

In the second round of the state playoffs, Omolo continued to open plenty of eyes this week. Omolo had the opportunity to showcase his accurate arm and did not disappoint one bit. He was 25 of 33 for 404 yards and 6 touchdowns on the night. Omolo did an excellent job of keeping his eyes down the field all night on Friday. Omolo is a prospect to do big things at the next level over the next few years.
