Blake Ewert Blake Ewert 6’0″ | 190 lbs | RB South Range | 2024 State OH has once again put together an impactful campaign from the running back position to help his team win a lot of football games. The one-cut back is on the cusp of a 2,000 yard season, just needs 66 more yards to surpass the milestone, with 21 touchdowns on the season. Ewert is a veteran back that knows how to wait behind his offensive line before using his burst to hit the second level with regularity. Is a back that knows his body well to take contact and maintain his running stance for yardage after contact. Is a dangerous back between the tackles, but has the speed to hit the edge and keep working upfield. His open space speed allows him to make big plays once he reaches daylight. Has good vision to see openings behind the line and commits to them with his speed. Ewert has been a player that has been improving every time he steps on the field with a good team around him to support him. He is as hard to stop even with a game plan against him as any player in the state. The Raiders’ offense runs through Ewert.

Gus Valentine
Gus Valentine
If the South Range offense moves through Ewert, the defense gets moved by Gus Valentine. An interior linemen with the power, strength and speed to move defenders with efficiency to keep his running backs going, Valentine possesses a lot of skill at the guard position. He maintains clean form to generate power through his legs and hips to put defenders on skates. Has good speed pulling from the guard spot to partner his power with his momentum to create a collision at the point of contact to open up space for his ball carriers. He is a clearout specialist with his abilities and plays hard until the whistle. Valentine has the aggressive tendencies you want to see out of a lineman. Translate his abilities on the offensive line to be an impact run stopper on defense as well. Gets low for his size to keep control of offensive linemen while keeping power in his arms to shed blocks. Plays well within a small space to move bodies on both sides of the football. Has earned an offer to powerhouse Mount Union this season and put a lot of good play on film.

Perry has been able to move the ball through the air all season long from the arm of junior Walter Moses Walter Moses 6’4″ | 185 lbs | QB Perry | 2025 State OH . Complimented with a good group of receivers, Moses is another player on the cusp of 2,000 yards for the year with 1,918 yards passing. He is an upright passer with a quick arm motion to hit quick passes to keep his offense on schedule. Has good rotation to deliver the deep ball with good accuracy. Sound footwork to get full rotation throughout his body to get passes out with ease. Shows good ability to throw the ball on the move, operates best within the pocket, but has the ability to extend the play. More often than not will look to pass first, but will bite lazy defenses that don’t respect him with serviceable mobility traits to pull the ball down and run. Has different arm angles help his receivers get the ball, has touch on unconventional passes get the ball to his man no matter what. At 6-foot-4 with all the abilities of a next level quarterback, his recruiting has been cooking all season long with several schools interested in his services. Walter is a game breaker that can get a lot accomplished any time the ball is in his hands.

Jayden Studio Jayden Studio 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Perry | 2024 State OH
Jayden Studio Jayden Studio 6’0″ | 200 lbs | LB Perry | 2024 State OH can be a drive killer playing from the edge and getting in the backfield often. Studio is already committed to Kent State and for good reason. He has the speed to get past linemen with ease or strength to challenge bigger linemen to fight towards the ball. Is a total-package linebacker that can stop the run or play in coverage. Gets after the quarterback as well with the speed to keep containment or attack when he has the angle. Has quick-twitch ability to deliver a powerful blow to linemen to shed blocks and attack the run side. Above average tackler with the wingspan to keep any ball carrier with the arm strength to send them backwards. An impact player on offense as well as a hard-nose running back with good speed to finish plays off with big gains. Has quick lateral movement that helps him on both sides of the ball to make plays. While Studio already is committed, his abilities as a linebacker make him one of the most interesting prospects in Northeast Ohio based on his abilities. No doubt he will have a big impact on the regional championship game.
