Bailey has been dominating small, medium and big school competition since he took over as the signal caller for the Small school power, Hilmar his Freshman year. He is a true dual-threat quarterback that can stretch the field vertically but does most of his damage on the run both in the designed run game and when scrambling and making something out of nothing. He is a well put together kid with a strong lower body, powerful running style and also possesses plus third level speed with the twitch and short area quickness to make defenders miss and cutback against flow. He shows good vision at the first two levels, and has strong contact balance while able to keep his feet moving to gain tough yards while extremely difficult to tackle in the open field and on one on one situations. Atop the leaderboards for section rushers this Fall, he rushed for 1,800 yards and 17 TD’s, while throwing for another 200+. He is one of the most exciting players to watch in all of Northern California, and is in line for a huge 2024 season for one of the top small schools in the state.
Highlights
Juan Esquivez
Juan Esquivez
Esquivez is the top rusher across the Sac-Joaquin section, and is a true threat out of the backfield with top end speed and shows good toughness in-between the tackles and contact balance through traffic. He is a balanced back that rushed for 2,52 and 40 rushing touchdowns while averaging over 10 yards per carry and adding another 75 yards receiving. He is a next level back in the right system and school, and can be a late add small school steal at the next level.
Cherry has been atop the statistical rushing rankings for the last couple of years, and has put together a series of very impressive varsity seasons for Oakmont. The senior ball carrier rushed for 1,900 yards on the ground and 25 touchdowns despite a tough season for the Vikings. All in all over his career, he had one of the more impressive offensive resumes of any prep player across Northern California. He amassed ridiculous numbers that included almost 5,000 yards rushing and 60 touchdowns in only three years at Oakmont. He is another kid that deserves a shot to play at the next level and should be able to find a home at the D3+ level in college.
