Bruzon has been one of the most electric players across the region over the last few years and can do tons of damage with both his legs and through the air while able to flat out spin it. He is a dynamic athlete that is a no brainer next level kid and has been dominating top talent across Arizona for that past several seasons at the highest level. This week was no different in the open division semi-final game, as he passed for over 200+ yards, two scores through the air and two scores on the ground. Look for the veteran signal caller to lead Liberty into a tough matchup against a loaded Centennial team on Saturday night.
Highlights
Bray is one of the more under-recruited signal callers in the western region, and has put up big time numbers so far in his Senior season. Overall, he has passed for 2,400+ yards and 18 touchdowns through the air, with a very impressive 70% completion percentage and rarely makes mistakes through the air. On the ground, he has rushed for another 323 yards and 3 touchdowns. Against Salpointe Catholic of Tucson, he threw four touchdowns, and lead Saguaro to a multi-score win and punched their ticket to the state title game against Red Mountain.
Jack Atkinson
Jack Atkinson
Atkinson is one of the most productive small school players across the state, and had a very nice showing in the state 2-A finals game against Pima, tossing four touchdowns. He has put together a stellar Senior season, passing for nearly 3,000 yards and 40+ touchdowns, while adding another touchdown rushing. He recently locked down his commitment to Wash-U in St. Louis and should make a quick impact on their roster and provide good depth from the start. This Fall, he lead Scottsdale Christian to an impressive 12-2 record and a state 2-A State Championship, capping off a elite playing career.
