GULF SHORES
Gulf Shores had another dominant win last weekend in their 41-0 victory over Charles Henderson. Throughout this game, Gulf Shores’ defense had a huge game where they forced 5 turnovers.
LB Kingston Lowe Kingston Lowe 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Gulf Shores | 2024 State AL
Kingston Lowe Kingston Lowe 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Gulf Shores | 2024 State AL has been on a dominant run this postseason, and in this game against Charles Henderson, he was making plays all over the field. Lowe had himself a big day against the run and pass where he ended up with 7 total tackles (6 solo/1 assisted/5 for loss) and one sack. Lowe has been playing at a really high level recently, consistently making an impact in both of their postseason games so far.
ATH Ronnie Royal Ronnie Royal 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Gulf Shores | 2024 State AL III
Ronnie Royal Ronnie Royal 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Gulf Shores | 2024 State AL is an all-around weapon for Gulf Shores on both offense and defense but made a huge impact in their secondary in this game. Royal was all over the field, racking up tackles, turnovers, and even scoring- in total he racked up 7 tackles (5 solo/2 assisted/1 for loss) one sack, and one interception that he returned 76 yards for a touchdown. Royal had a huge impact in this game, his touchdown return was ridiculous and he locked up everyone he lined up against all game long.
LB Landon Everett Landon Everett 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Gulf Shores | 2026 State AL
Landon Everett Landon Everett 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Gulf Shores | 2026 State AL is another linebacker who had a big impact in Gulf Shores’ front seven this week. Everett was all over the field and racked up a bunch of tackles and half of their 4 total turnovers- on the game, Everett recorded 7 total tackles (2 solo/5 assisted/2.5 for loss) one sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery. Everett was all over the field and delivered some huge hits, there was nothing Charles Henderson’s offense could do against this group.
RAMSAY
Ramsay’s defense had a massive game last week in their 42-7 victory over Leeds where their pass rush was constantly getting pressure and bringing down the quarterback.
LB Quinton Reese Quinton Reese 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Ramsay | 2024 State AL
Star LB Quinton Reese Quinton Reese 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Ramsay | 2024 State AL made a ton of plays throughout this game- he’s a serious force against the run and pass and makes a ton of open field tackles and plays behind the line of scrimmage. Reese was able to completely halt everything Leeds’ offense was trying to do with his 11 total tackles (4 solo/7 assisted/2 for loss) one sack and one forced fumble. Reese has had an unreal season this fall and is going to be a player to keep watch of next week and at the next level.
DL Dy’lan Robinson
Defensive lineman Dy’lan Robinson had a huge game in the trenches where he bullied Leeds’ offensive linemen all night long. Robinson was destructive against the run, consistently closing gaps and bringing down the ball carrier, and he was able to really affect the quarterback as well. On the game, Robinson recorded 8 total tackles (1 solo/7 assisted/2 for loss) and 2 sacks.
LB Marquel Patterson
Marquel Patterson, a junior linebacker at Ramsay, paired up with Quinton Reese Quinton Reese 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Ramsay | 2024 State AL to completely dominate the opposing offense, especially in the open field. Patterson has a ton of sideline-to-sideline speed and playmaking abilities and used them to his advantage throughout this game- recording 12 total tackles (1 solo/11 assisted). Patterson has made a big impact on this defense and has a ton of potential going into his senior season.
PARKER
Parker has had one of the best defenses in the state this season and has been dominant in back-to-back weeks, just recently coming off their second-round 21-14 victory over Oxford.
DL Jourdin Crawford Jourdin Crawford 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL Parker | 2025 State AL
Junior defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford Jourdin Crawford 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL Parker | 2025 State AL has been one of the best in the state since he was a freshman and has made a ton of plays all year long. Last week was no different as Crawford was able to rack up 6 total tackles (4 solo/2 assisted) and three sacks on the game. Parker’s pass rush was on fire throughout this whole game and Crawford was able to penetrate and cause havoc in the backfield nearly every snap.
EDGE Jeremiah Beaman Jeremiah Beaman 6'4" | 265 lbs | DL Parker | 2024 State AL
Jeremiah Beaman Jeremiah Beaman 6'4" | 265 lbs | DL Parker | 2024 State AL is another one of the top prospects on this Parker defense, the Alabama commit has been explosive every year and has only gotten better over the last season. Beaman was destructive off the edge and made play after play all night long, recording 7 total tackles (7 solo) and four sacks on the game. Beaman was a force in this game, he and Jourdin Crawford Jourdin Crawford 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL Parker | 2025 State AL could not be contained at all, and they were able to make a huge impact in the process.
ATH Carlton Duncan
Carlton Duncan is a really versatile weapon for this Parker defense and was able to have a significant impact in this game. Duncan was a force and made tackles at every level of the field, causing a ton of problems and not allowing Oxford’s offense to really do much of anything. On the game, Duncan was able to rack up 9 total tackles, (5 solo/4 assisted).
