In this report, I give a closer look at these prospects, where I’ll highlight their season play and what they bring to the table as football players.
Kaiden Brochu
A pure athletic player is what I see in “Brochu”. He flies around on defense while playing the linebacker or free safety position depending on run support team needs. He can deliver a blow to any ball carrier and welcomes contact. This season, he has also shined on the offense side of the ball. He had 149 carries for a total of 1910 rushing yards in 10 games this season. The junior is a physically aggressive player and it pops on film. He can twist, turn, hurdle, jab step and break away to avoid defenders in tight areas and open fields. He will do whatever is needed to get the ball in the end zone.
Highlights
The junior had an impressive season rushing. He had 197 carries while totaling 1408 yards on the ground in ten games. He shared quality reps with teammate Dravyn Roberts Dravyn Roberts 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB East Hartford | 2025 State New E who was another 1000+ yard rusher this season. He checks many boxes in the running backs skill set such as very good initial quickness, good balance, and body control, solid inside running skills, power with the ability to break tackles, and elusiveness in the open field.
A QB with an impressive rushing season. “Roberts” shared ground reps with teammate Yaxier Rivera Yaxier Rivera 5’11” | 180 lbs | RB East Hartford Ct. | 2025 New E and still was able to get over the 1000+ yard mark this season. In fact, he carried the ball 106 times and totaled 1122 yards in ten games this season. All while playing QB for his team. The dual threat of both Roberts and Rivera was impressive this season as it relates to rushing. “Roberts” is a dual-threat QB who can beat you with his legs or arm. Has the ability to change arm angles and can throw on the run with great accuracy.
Bradyn Downes
Playing in an offense that fits your running style is special. “Downes” fits the profile of a slot receiver who is a playmaker when the ball is in his hands. He is fortunate to be aligned in a double-wing offense that allowed him to showcase his secure hands, with his aggressive and determined running style. He is gritty and plays tough on both sides of the ball. This season he carried the rock 77 times and totaled 1011 yards in ten games. Has very good athletic coordination and is versatile enough to be recruited as an athlete.
