The preview will include a quick analysis of their season highlight film with comparison as to how they match up with their personal measurables at the college level.
“Silton: He attended Westford Academy during his freshman 2022 season. Late that season, he was promoted to the starting QB position and earned high respect from coaches and teammates. This fall 2023 season, he is enrolled at Proctor Academy as a rising star sophomore QB, and has brought all the momentum he gained from playing QB at WA, to the gridiron field at PA. His strong arm darts with quick release and accuracy is what stands out when viewing his film. He also shows good command presence in the pocket while reading defenses and going through his progressions. This season he had 52 completions in 73 attempts for a total of 918 yds, 11 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. A 71% completion rate. He also rushed for a total of 250 yds and 2 touchdowns in 7 total games played. A great season for this rising sophomore despite being a team that is run-heavy due to the fact of having 2 very talented senior running backs on the team. His measurables align with Low Div-1 FCS/High D2/High NAIA quarterbacks.

The rising sophomore was a solid offensive lineman this season. He is a reclassified sophomore from Beekmantown Central School in West Chazy, NY to Milton Academy in Massachusetts. The word is he is also a very good shot putter who competes at a very high level. On the gridiron, he fell right into place this season competing in the Independence School League under the NEPSAC umbrella. A quick glance at this season’s film shows good athletic coordination and is comfortable in getting in position to pass pro, punch, and anchor in place. He plays with good leverage when run blocking. He may need to slim down a bit to develop and gain additional foot fire on contact, a more effective base, be more effective getting to the second level, and be able to run in space (thinking: screens, too). He does have the frame and tools to play at the next level. His physical measurables align with Div 1- FBS group of 5 and/or Div -1 High FCS Offensive lineman.

The rising sophomore played both the offense and defense lines this season for his team. He was previously ranked as the #15 offensive lineman in class of 2026 in New England. He was positioned mainly at the NG position where he is seen filling gaps along the defensive front and winning the battles. He has a large frame at 6’4″ 270lbs. As an offensive lineman, he uses very good leverage to move 1st level defenders. He knows how to get his backside in the hole to make running lanes and will finish the block with power. He can punch effectively and strike through a DL. Shows strong hands once engaged.

Vinh Nguyen Vinh Nguyen 5’8″ | 155 lbs | DB Minnechuag Regional | 2026 State NewE“Nguyen” is a sophomore defensive back with outstanding agility and loose hips. His feet are a definition of foot fire. This season held down the position of corner for his team. He did a nice job and appears to have excellent field vision and run-support instincts. A high-level run support defender is what you get with this young man. He also strikes through the body when executing tackles. At 5’8″, he may be viewed by college coaches as a bit undersized for the corner position in college. Throw in his 32-inch vertical and ability to open his hips in either direction and stick with the quickness of any receiver, and he slowly overcomes this concern. He is also a high academic recruit. His physical measurables align with Low D-2/ All D- 3/ NAIA defensive backs. He has good athletic fluidity.

The 5’9″ wide receiver is coming off his freshman season where he made a name for himself at the Varsity level early. When the 2022 season ended, his Head Coach stated the following. “Jake earned an opportunity to start at corner this year as a freshman. He ended the season as a huge piece in our secondary. We are expecting big things over the next 3 years!!!” Fast forward to this season, the rising sophomore was used on both sides of the ball. On defense, he totaled 21 solo and 5 assisted tackles for a total of 26 tackles in 8 games while playing corner. He also had 1 interception. On offense, he was targeted 23 times for a total of 281 yards while playing slot/wr. His statistics reflect 8 game play. He is an athlete with quickness seen in his skill set. Not a board production for the 2nd year varsity athlete who should be a main target for his team next season. His physical measurables align with low D2/NAIA/All D3 wide receivers.
