We are super excited to be days away from what should be another great Stock Up Showcase. We have players from 3 different states, locked in to attend Sunday’s showcase. Before then, I wanted to do some research into some of the prospects and draw up some previews of prospects that I’m looking forward to seeing.
Check out these 5 prospects that will be in attendance for the Stock Up Showcase:
Harrell Jackson Harrell Jackson 5'9" | 170 lbs | LB MIllard West | 2024 State NE | 2024 | LB | Millard West (NE) | 5’9″ 170 lbs
A very underrated player on one of the toughest defenses in Nebraska’s Class A. In his first season seeing major varsity time, Harrell’s skillset allowed him to play a very versatile role while still bringing a physical mindset to the field. He plays outside linebacker but can also slide into a nickel-type role where he can pick up slot receivers and backs in coverage. Harrell does a great job attacking downhill and was constantly sniffing out runs and pass plays at/behind the line of scrimmage. Jackson is not a big player but he is stronger than people would think and can fight off blocks very well. Sound, consistent tackler who displays great technique— very tough to escape his grasp. Surprisingly still waiting on his first offer which I think should change this Sunday.
Holden Hansen Holden Hansen 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Southeast Polk | 2025 IA | 2025 | QB | Southeast Polk (IA) | 6’2″ 200 lbs
The man slotted to take the reins of the 3-peat SEP Rams, junior Holden Hansen Holden Hansen 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Southeast Polk | 2025 IA , will be in the house slinging the rock. Holden is a Stock Up showcase vet, having already posted impressive performances in recent years. Holden has a solid frame at 6’2″ and 200 pounds which helps him hang tough in the pocket and displays good mobility. Hansen has a strong arm that allows him to put some zip into his throws and fit the ball into tight windows. Hansen does a great job with his ball placement and had a few passes where he was able to lead his receiver and throw them open. Coming from a program like Southeast Polk, you know you’re going to get a well-coached, smart prospect. Don’t be surprised if we see Holden light up the Sports Plex on Sunday.
Bryce Beitelspacher | 2024 | OL/DL | Aberdeen Central (SD) | 6’7″ 260 lbs
When looking at the list of attendees, Bryce’s size stood out immediately as one of two players listed as 6’7″. There were only a couple of clips on his Hudl but given his measurables and lengthy frame, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bryce emerged as one of the top performers at the showcase. He has a rushing touchdown, to his credit so there is a solid athletic base already set. Really looking forward to seeing Bryce perform this Sunday!
Trey Hicklin Trey Hicklin 6'3" | 235 lbs | OL Urbandale | 2025 State IA | 2025 | OL | Urbandale (IA) | 6’3″ 235 lbs
Trey only had a few clips on his Hudl, but those were all I needed to see to get excited about the Urbandale junior. Hicklin has solid size at 6’3″ and 235 lbs and really impressed with his mobility. He’s very quick to fire out of his stance and moves very well laterally. Hicklin uses his hands very well and seems to have a strong upper body that can dominate defenders, before flattening them for a pancake. Excited to see Trey ball out this Sunday!
