That said, I have not stopped tracking our top prospects and their college offer or commitment status dating all the way back to August. Below are a handful of noteworthy prospects and their recruiting status updates. Congrats to this group of talented players and their families!
Allentown’s new single-season passing yardage leader, Luke Wiedau Luke Wiedau 6’2″ | 215 lbs | QB Allentown | 2024 NJ , is off to play college ball. In a great move to continue his academic career, Wiedau will be heading to Carnegie Mellon University to play for the Tartans for the next few years.
After a trip to the middle of Pennsylvania, Jermaine Kinsler Jermaine Kinsler 6’7″ | 260 lbs | ATH Bergen Catholic | 2026 State NJ made his collegiate decision. The Bergen Catholic lineman, by way of Florida, visited Happy Valley for their game at the end of October against Indiana. After the victory for the Nittany Lions, something just felt right for Kinsler as he committed later that weekend. Penn State beat out Maryland, Tennessee, Michigan State, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia for Kinsler’s services.
Highlights
Linden’s dynamic runner TeQuan Thomas is an athletic talent that colleges will unquestionably utilize on offense. A few collegiate offenses that see the game-breaking potential of Thomas are LIU and Notre Dame College.
One of Delbarton’s team captains, Dallas Hurley Dallas Hurley 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Delbarton | 2024 NJ , is college-bound. His most recent offer came out of the Bronx where the Fordham Rams want him to be a part of their future plans. Additional offers that Hurley – a linebacker – has received are from Lehigh, New Hampshire, Cornell, Georgetown, and Navy.
Blessed with a bunch of versatile teammates around him, Woodbridge’s Jordan Byron Jordan Byron 5’10” | 160 lbs | DB Woodbridge | 2024 NJ benefited by being allowed to showcase his skillset in various different ways. The result? Byron received his first offer from Notre Dame College – a DII program out of Ohio.
Another school’s all-time single-season passing yardage leader picked up some recruiting steam since our last set of updates. Mike Hollomon III Mike Hollomon III 6’5″ | 210 lbs | QB The Pingry School | 2024 NJ of Pingry not only set the school’s record on November 15, but had the recruiting scene set for him in the near future. Hollomon’s most recent offer comes by way of Westminster College – an offer that he announced on November 1. Prior to this, Hollomon was also offered by Macalester College out of the Twin Cities area.
