I think that Zayion Cotton Zayion Cotton 6'4" | 210 lbs | ATH Grenada | 2026 State MS is going to be a SEC receiver one day. He is 6-foot-4, 208 pounds and he has 32 inch arms with 9.5 inch hands. Cotton has very good speed and is not a guy that will get caught from behind. However, there are some things he needs to work on. His release from the line is not the fastest. In my opinion, he uses a lot of false steps when he is trying to get separation. He needs to use this upcoming offseason to become more fluent in his route running. When you watch his film, you can see that he can run. He has a 90 yard touchdown play where he gets on down with ease. You can see that he has great hands. If Cotton could work on the few things mentioned in this article, he will start to see his stock rise.
Kitchens is a monster. Kid is a 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman from Nanih Waiya. He is a strong kid that knows how to get guys out of his running backs way. He could very easily be a power five prospect one day with the size, heart, determination, and dedication that he has. Kitchens needs to work more on his footwork. College coaches want to see him in a kick step a lot more. With that being said, he needs to attend more camps because his team is more of a running team. I have seen Kitchens at some camps last season before his freshman year. He was raw at that time, but he has improved a lot since then. He also needs to be more patient with his hands.
Wiggins is another player that coaches want to see have better footwork. He has the size to be a great player on the interior line when he hits the next level. Wiggins also has the intelligence that you want an offensive lineman to have. He needs to also work on his kick step more. Wiggins has been to a lot of camps. There is no doubt that he has the skills to play. There are just some things that he needs to polish up with his footwork. He is very dangerous on running plays. You won’t find many guys that want to be in front of him when he is pulling on a counter trap or misdirection play.
Cork did a lot of improving this off-season. It was not hard to see that he did a lot of things to become better at his craft. When I watched Cork’s film from this season, there are a few things I would like to see to ensure that he can be a division one quarterback on the next level. Cork needs to work on having a faster release. He gets the ball out on time and always finds the right receiver. On the next level, those ends are going to be coming a lot faster. Got flick that wrist a little faster. He also needs to look off his receivers and not stare down his targets on some plays. Cork has two more years to get this down pat. He will be a D1 guy in my opinion.
