He makes good use of his hand placement and can get off blocks. Controls and wins the line of scrimmage. Good footwork and leverage in the run game. Uses a wrap-and-roll technique when tackling. Flashes quick-twitch get-off skills. Flashes ability to overpower or out-quick HS offensive linemen. His measurables align with low Div-1 FCS/High/D2/High NAIA Defensive linemen. Has time to continue developing.
Rowan Martin Rowan Martin 6’1″ | 160 lbs | ATH Williston Northampton | 2027 State New E 2027 ATH @ Williston Northampton School | 6’1 150 | Head Coach: @coachbeatsFilm Review: He is versatile and can play free safety of OLB. His film contains a majority of OLB clips. The freshman has very good length in his arms and legs. At the OLB position, he squeezes the ball carrier inside and attacks quickly while maintaining the edge. He can make very good open-field tackles. He tackles with a low center target and wraps and rolls to his feet. Flashes solid instincts in the run game. Flashes a decent knee bend. Shows decent pursuit skills. Flashes physical play each rep. A young athlete with time and room to continue growing. His current measurables align with Low Div -1 FCS/High D2/High NAIA Linebackers. I’m curious to see where his full growth will climb to.

Film Review: Very athletic recruit. He does many things well on both sides of the ball. While positioned at safety, he shows great awareness. Flashes ability to get the ball in traffic. Seen as a tough competitor. Willing in run support. Solid change of direction skills. Tackles low and with security. On offense as a WR, he possesses the speed although a bit undersized for the position. He is willing to block and plays with a high motor, good vision, instincts, and good hands. Has the quickness to make defenders miss. His measurables align with Low D2/ NAIA/ALL D3 Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs.

Film Review: Impressive young player with a high ceiling ahead. He may be a freshman but his skills are advanced. He plays with a confident, competitive attitude. Has a very large frame and will go up to high top of the ball each time he is targeted. Has very good balance and body control to make the back shoulder catch. He is able to catch a jump ball easily as a mesh, slant, or hitch. He appears comfortable running all routes and possesses very good ball skills. He has no clips to evaluate his blocking ability or how he gets off-press man coverages in his highlight film. He displayed a strong desire to be physical and aggressive in each play. Has plenty of time to continue developing. His measurables align with Div 1 FBS Power 5 Wide Receivers. I project he will see a slew of college camp invites in summer 2024 to evaluate his athletic numbers, blocking ability and ability to get off press man coverages.

Film Review: Displays the ability to throw the Deep Out, Comeback, Dig, and Seam Route with slight loft. Flashes the proficient ability to throw to open receivers and execute the back shoulder throw. He gets the ball out quickly and with accuracy. He has good pocket awareness and can escape the pocket with his feet to extend the play. He can change arm angles while on the run to make the throw. He shows good poise and is comfortable in the pocket. He can rip the ball. Multi-Sport athlete. His measurables align with Low Div 1 FCS/High D2/ High NAIA Quarterbacks. I enjoyed viewing his film and look forward to getting eyes on him during showcases or camps this 2024 off-season.
