3A State Title Check In: Noxubee Co vs Winona

They are one of the most talented teams in the state of Mississippi. These guys get after it on the football field. I have been truly impressed with their team this season. We have witnessed them put up a lot of points. [player_tooltip player_id='1121288' first='Chase' last='Richardson'] is leading their team on that side of the football. Troylando Eden, Kam'ron Robinson and Tristan Purnell are some receivers that he will be looking to get the football to. Zaishun Nash is going to be holding it down in the running game. He averages right at 80 yards per game. [player_tooltip player_id='910463' first='TJ' last='Lockhart'] is a big offensive lineman they will be looking to run behind.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='139603' first='Fred' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1126766' first='Tyler' last='Lockhart'] will be holding it down on defense for Winona. Javier Jackson is another player that does a great job for Winona on defense. They are going to have to try their best to stop this high flying offense. They may have to let Richardson play some safety this game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Winona doing a lot of blitzing. They need to try to create some pressure on Taylor. Sitting back letting him pick you a part is not a good idea. He is the man on the team that is committed to Mississippi State. He will be spreading the ball around to some great targets. Fufu Mosley is one of the best players in the 2026 class. He is a guy that you need to know. He is a player that can play running back and wide receiver. [player_tooltip player_id='123210' first='Dequadrion' last='Welch'] is another player that Noxubee Co will be getting the ball to on offense. Welch is a player that makes plays in a lot of different ways for them. He can hurt you on the deep ball, he can hurt you on quick passes, and he can also hurt you on reverse plays. They will need for him to do is best to try to apply some pressure on Richardson.
