Warner has been seemingly unblockable coming off the edge this Fall for Desert Edge and is one of the better edge rushers in the country. The Kansas commit had a 2 sack and defensive touchdown performance against Sunrise Mountain and was providing pressure off the edge all night. He is a big time addition to this Kansas 2024 class as he is a national recruit with offers from the likes of Michigan, Ohio State and Texas. It will be interesting to see if the Jayhawks are able to hold onto his commitment with Ohio State closing in late.

Zubey had a very productive week, putting up good numbers on the defensive side of the ball. All in one game, he had three interceptions against a quality opponent in ALA and proved that he is one of the better lockdown defensive backs across the state. He currently holds one offer from Cobber and should see other D-II+ offers come his way as we move closer to National Signing Day.

The Junior linebacker was all over the field last weekend against Red Mountain, and had 10+ tackles, two tackles for loss and was applying pressure from various angles both off the edge and up the middle. He is a true thumper inside that can run with slots/backs and is also able to take on lead blockers and scrape over the top while a sure tackler in space. He is a terrific overall athlete with solid COD abilities and cover skills while able to bang in the box.

Escandon is a bit undersized for the position, but leads the defense for one of the top teams on the west coast. He is a no brainer next level kid that can make an impact on a college roster at inside linebacker and is a true plug that plays a lot bigger than he is and is a high motor kid that consistently plays with violence. He had another stellar performance Friday night, going for 10+ tackles and a scoop and score against Centennial. He holds two offers from Lewis and Clark and Western New Mexico and it would not surprise me if he got a late FCS roster spot as we near the second National Signing Day.
