This week's Game Balls in the Catawba River Region is centered around the kickoff of region play. We've got two quarterbacks who continue to help their teams roll, two guys who can make plays on both sides of the ball and on special teams and defenders who were all around the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='241044' first='Finley' last='Polk'] | QB | Northwestern

Polk and the Northwestern offense continued to put up big numbers, this time it was in a 59-6 blowout win over Lancaster. He went 17-of-25 for 287 yards and 2 touchdowns, while running for one more. The two passing touchdowns went to Jayden Burris for 76 yards and Jaylen Burris for 30 yards. The Burris brothers were first and third on the team in receptions in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249747' first='Zach' last='Rogers'] | ATH | Lewisville

Rogers was all over the place in the Lions' 35-6 win over CA Johnson on Friday night. He made a huge hit on a kickoff return, taking a great angle to the ball. On defense, he read a pass play over the middle and made an interception. And finally on offense, he lined up in the wildcat formation and got into the end zone.

https://twitter.com/ZachRogers45/status/1708157149426160020

[player_tooltip player_id='809751' first='Ian' last='Grissom'] | QB | Lewisville

Speaking of offense for Lewisville, Grissom had another solid night, throwing for 248 yards and throwing for 3 scores and running for another one. He caught our eye with the plays he was able to keep alive with his feet. He can also put the ball where only his receiver can get it.

https://twitter.com/iangrissom6/status/1708551880278696276

[player_tooltip player_id='995603' first='Brody' last='Rowan'] | DL | Clover

Rowan got in the backfield early and often in the Blue Eagles' 30-0 win over Nation Ford. He made great use of his hands to shed blocks and was fun to watch when it came to stopping the run.

Jayden Woods | LB | Northwestern

Woods had a scoop and score for a touchdown of 12 yards in the rout of Lancaster. [player_tooltip player_id='605531' first='Will' last='Massey'] led the team with 5 solo tackles while Danija McMullen had 3 solos.

[player_tooltip player_id='1036779' first='Kaiden' last='Watkins'] | ATH | Rock Hill

Watkins (pictured above) was a part of a stellar defensive effort in the 44-7 win over Spring Valley on Friday as he had 4 assisted tackles and was all over the football. He played some on special teams as well. [player_tooltip player_id='997363' first='Landon' last='Armstrong'] was one of the leaders up front on the defensive line as well.

Trey Wagner | LB | York

Wagner has a motor that is always running. He lined up frequently on the right side of the offensive line and consistently ran full speed off the edge to get to the quarterback in a tight 28-20 win for the Cougars over Indian Land on Friday. He finished with 7 total tackles and 2 TFLs.
