More importantly, the rising freshman and the rare 8th graders, who have cracked their respected High School varsity line-ups early in the season. These special underclassmen have a very high percentage of being future household names in the New England region gridiron world. History has shown us that these student-athletes will likely move on to solid college programs at all levels to enjoy additional years of playing this wonderful game while earning a great education. We will continue this report periodically and when warranted as we get more information about these gifted, special, rising freshmen and middle school prospects. Part 2.
Breven Lyons Breven Lyons 6’0″ | 225 lbs | DL North Quincy | 2027 State New E Class of 2027 || 5’11 215 || C/DT || North Quincy High School (MA)
What we know: He is a rising freshman defensive tackle who attends North Quincy High School in Massachusetts. Plays with a motor and relentless effort. He can be seen chasing ball carriers across the field with heavy pursuit and finishing. He was recently transferred to an offensive guard position on varsity, and he delivered solid play. So much so that he started in his first varsity game and a view of his highlights shows he was very effective and productive. HUDL

What we know: Liam Cunningham Liam Cunningham 6’0″ | 275 lbs | OL Buckingham Browne And Nichols | 2027 New E will return as the starter at center, a spot he locked down last year as an 8th grader who played on Varsity. He is now a rising freshman this season. He is an inside guy who can move well while using excellent leverage to move his target. He stand 6’0″ 275 with a strong lower base.

What we know: The rising freshman earned the starting nod at quarterback the week of Sept 14, 2023. He is a left-handed dominant. He has a good command presence under center. He has shown earlier accuracy in his throws and can get the ball out quickly. In a game in late September 2023, he threw for 85 yards while completing all five of his passes, three for touchdowns, in a win for his team.

What we know: He is a reclass freshman who attends Lawerence Academy in Massachusetts. He stands 6’0″ with advanced athletic skill set that has earned him the starting position at safety and seeing time at RB. A quick view of 2023 first game film clips shows he has very good field awareness and has already earned an interception and he broke up a definite 28 yard catch that would have gone for a td. He also flashed good hands with a catch near the goal line. Has very good length in his arms and legs.

Karter Thyne Karter Thyne WR Stevens NH. | 2027 New E is a rising freshman wide receiver who attends Stevens High School in Connecticut.
Whats we know: He has a twin brother “Karson” who is the QB on the same team. He has earned the starting position at wide receiver. In a late September 2023 game, he caught three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown and also recorded four solo tackles, and intercepted a pass during a win.
Xzavier Chafin Xzavier Chafin 6’1″ | 230 lbs | DL Buckingham Browne & Nichols Ma. | 2028 New E 6’2 235 DL/OL 28′ BBN
What we know: He is just a rising 8th grader. His pre-season efforts have earned him a starting role on his high school varsity team. He already stands 6’2″ 235 lbs, and has one wondering where his measurables will be by the end of his varsity career. One thing that can be said is he is a gifted athlete that is far ahead of his time as it pertains to growth and development. The film below says alot about his athletic potential. TWITTER
