<p>One of the quick, more instinctive linebackers in the area, Geralds is a natural linebacker who can really attack and fly to the football. He reads the play well and reacts quickly before it can develop. He gets sideline to sideline and has no problem making a play in the backfield. He runs well and can make a fundamental, hard tackle as well. He's fun to watch and has been very productive this season as a junior. He far in 2023, the Jonesboro defender has made 70 tackles, 9 TFLs, one sack and one forced fumble through the first seven games. He plays fast, plays hard, and it one of the more talented defenders an a loaded defense. So far, Geralds is showing he has a chance to play at the next level.</p>

<p>A tough middle linebacker with good instincts, Davies is a guy who plays with a lot of drive and energy. At 6-foot-0 215-pounds, Davies plays at a high level and does a good job of using his hands to shed blocks and deliver a sound tackle on the ball-carrier. He roams the middle of the field and gets down-hill quick to meet the back in the backfield or around the line of scrimmage. Through his first seven games, Davies has totaled 79 tackles and 4.5 TFLs with 1.5 sacks. He's a football magnet that knows how to tackle and has flashed D1 potential this season. He's made at least 10 tackles in every game with his best game coming in a 15-tackle performance against Star's Mill.</p>

<p>Another speedy linebacker with natural instincts, Brooks is simply a ball-carrier. He does his job, plays physical, and has the natural feel of a linebacker. He loves contact, he plays fast, and knows exactly what his job is. He shows good pursuit of the ball-carrier with the ability to get to the sideline. He follows through with his tackle and and has a knack for making a big tackle when the team needs it. So far this season, Brooks has made 92 tackles in his first six games, recording at least 14 tackles in every game. He's a football magnet and always finds his way to the ball-carrier. More importantly, he's led the Lambert Longhorns to an undefeated record so far this season. Look for Brooks to be one of the state's leading tacklers this season. </p>
