There are some players around the state that you should know in the trenches. Let's check it out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1121305' first='Detrick' last='Munford']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We don't get a chance to brag on Munford a lot. He is definitely a player to know. Munford already has 15 sacks on the season. He is a 2024 defensive lineman from Amanda Elzy that we need to know. He is deadly with his hands. Munford is always finding a way to immediately get to the quarterback. He has been shining this season. He will probably end the season as the sack leader of Mississippi. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='762056' first='Zach' last='Ruffin'] </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ruffin is a linebacker from Neshoba County that I like a lot. He is playing safety for his team, but I think that he is going to be a linebacker on the next level. He is not easy to keep out of the backfield. When he comes up to make tackles, he truly brings the pain. Ruffin is also very aggressive. He does not shy away from contact. He also loves to make big hits.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344055' first='Michael' last='Wallace']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wallace is a player that is super athletic as a bigger prospect. He knows how to get busy with his feet. Wallace also is very quick. Coaches are still trying to determine if he is a player that will be an offensive or defensive lineman on the next level. It is very evident that he is going to be a college football player one day. Wallace knows how to get loose on the line. It is very hard to block him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='617336' first='Jermar' last='McCarter'] </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McCarter is a huge guy that looks very good in pads. He is a player that I think is going to be a defensive end on the next level. McCarter needs to be on the line where he can immediately attack players and use his long arms to keep guys off of his body. I think he is a guy thay is going to be a group of five player on the next level. I could also see him fitting in very well in the SWAC conference. This is a guy to know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
