These guys went out with victory on their minds and made it happen along with their teammates and are players who deserve the spotlight. Keep eyes out for the names listed, as they continue to hit their strides.
Aaron Deleon | QB | Stratford | 2025
Deleon came out on fire vs Cy Creek. In the first half alone, he threw 4 touchdowns and added 2 more with his legs. In a dominant performance, Deleon showed his accuracy and zip on the ball, ability to scramble, and the composure while under pressure. Deleon finished with a stat line of 304 passing yards with 5 touchdowns on 16 of 21 passing, and 2 rushing touchdowns on top of that.
Trey Morris III | RB | Cy Falls | 2024
The workhorse did what he does best. He and the Eagle offensive line wore down a defense throughout the game with their physicality and patient running. Morris III showed off his vision, patience, and ability to pop one when the opportunity presents itself. Morris III is a back who does not go down easily and continuously runs with strength and power, which resulted in 218 rushing yards and a touchdown on 29 carries.
Jaelon Dixon | RB | Klein Cain | 2025
20 carries for 282 yards and 4 touchdowns. Dixon made sure to have people know the name after the win over Klein. Dixon ran behind a strong line who opened up running lanes left and right, and he took advantage of it. Dixon put the burners on display on a 95 yard touchdown run and was an efficient runner the whole night.
Austin Carlisle Austin Carlisle 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Bend Ridge Point | 2025 State TX | QB | Ridge Point | 2025
Carlisle was dealing from the start of the game, starting off hot and not cooling off until he left the game. The accuracy and connection with his receivers stood out, trusting his guys to go and get it and putting the ball in spots where his guys can shine. Carlisle was cool and collected, throwing for 350 yards and 6 touchdowns on 20 of 28 passing getting the dub with his team.
Darius Rodgers | RB | Klein Cain | 2024
Rodgers had himself a game as well behind the dominant Hurricane oline. He was slashing through the open lanes, no hesitation with great acceleration, and outrunning the Klein secondary before they knew what hit them. Rodgers rushed for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 carries.
Patrick Bridges | WR | Pearland | 2024
The game just comes easy to Bridges at this point. The work he has put in is showing in season and he looks dominant. Bridges had himself another monster game, hauling in 8 catches for 132 yards and 4 touchdowns, putting his skills and athleticism on display once again.
Caleb Blocker Caleb Blocker 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Katy Tompkins | 2024 State TX | RB | Tompkins | 2024
Blocker had a busy night once again vs Katy Taylor. 217 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 24 carries, positive gain after positive gain. Blocker ran with power, breaking down the defense with his physicality and determination. Blocker continues to impress on the season, getting the bulk of carries and not disappointing week after week.
