Nelson leads the state in passing according to the teams that report their stats. All he has done this season is go 136 for 196 which is an astonishing 69% of his throws being completed. To go with his efficiency Nelson has also thrown for 2421 which shows that he makes big time throws through the air. He also has thrown 23 touchdowns on the season as well and should be having regular season awards coming his way. It’s a huge accomplishment for anyone to throw for a 2000+ yard and 20+ touchdown season.
Heusevedlt is another player that leads the state in receiving as he has 68 catches on the season which shows that he is a go to player with a high volume of targets. He also had 1296 yards on the year meaning that he turns those catches into big plays and long scores. With 13 receiving touchdowns on the year he is a big time threat from anywhere on the field.
McKenna has established himself as one of the premier lineman in the state of Idaho with his ability to really rush the passer. The senior Boise State commit has 15 sacks on the season. Using his ability to covets power and speed he is able to affect the game in a variety of different ways. If you have watched any Borah games this season you will see him constantly getting doubled in order to slow down his pass rush.

Dayton Phillips
Phillips has had a really nice year in the defensive backfield where he leads the state in interceptions with 6. A player that always puts himself in the right spot at the right time. Phillips uses his smooth transitioning skills to break on footballs and make impact plays. Having 6 interceptions is no easy feat and the fact that he is able to get to the ball and give it back to his offense is absolutely huge.
