I went to St. Louis University High School to see the Jr. Bills face off against Cardinal Ritter. This was a hard fought, back and forth game for the most part but Cardinal Ritter was able to pull away in the fourth quarter for a 52-39 victory. While there was a ton of talent on display for both teams, here are my top offensive performers from the game.
Senior quarterback Antwon McKay Antwon McKay 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO is a player that continued to impress this past Friday. He completed 8/10 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns. McKay was very impressive throwing the deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field and hit his receivers in stride in the deep passing game. He also showed impressive accuracy, putting the ball where only his intended receiver could catch it. McKay also showed the ability to tuck the ball and make plays with his legs when needed, running the ball three times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Antwon is committed to Western Illinois where I can see him developing into a successful quarterback at the next level.
Cardinal Ritter has a very unique quarterback situation as they have two high-caliber passers that they rotate throughout the game. Carson Boyd Carson Boyd 5’11” | 185 lbs | QB Cardinal Ritter | 2025 State MO continued to impress when in the game, completing 11/13 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Boyd has a canon for an arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He also showed a great feel for pressure, showing the ability to escape the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Boyd also carried the ball three times for 29 yards. Carson currently holds multiple Power 5 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a truly special talent.
Jamarion Parker Jamarion Parker 6’1″ | 185 lbs | RB Cardinal Ritter | 2025 State MO is another highly touted prospect that continued to impress this past Friday. Parker finished the game with 11 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown. Jamarion showed very impressive speed which he used to get to the outside and turn up the field to run away from the defense on long runs. He also showed the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field and contact balance to break tackles without losing stride. Parker also caught three passes for ten yards. Jamarion is committed to Arkansas where I can see him being one of the next great running backs to come through the program.

Elijah Abdullah
Elijah Abdullah
Elijah Abdullah is a player that jumped onto my radar this past week. He led Cardinal Ritter in receiving with six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. Abdullah was a major threat in the deep passing game where he was able to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. He also was able to use that speed to turn screen passes into big gains. Abdullah doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be a player for college coaches to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
