Carl Lagrone Carl Lagrone 6’3″ | 180 lbs | ATH McQueen | 2024 State NV III is a talented two-sport athlete who has a future playing cornerback at the next level. Carl has received attention from Utah Tech, so be on the lookout for more schools outside of northern Nevada to visit Reno this winter. Carl shows a fluid change of direction and good top speed getting into phase in man coverage. Length, strength, and quick feet shown mirroring receivers at the top of routes highlight Carl’s ability to be a man defender in college. Good instincts and reactive athleticism show changing direction in zone coverage to close on bubble screens outside of his vicinity.
Tobias Carrington-Pauley
Tobias Carrington-Pauley
Tobias Carrington-Pauley may be the most underrated DB in Nevada’s 2024 class. I am shocked to not see the lockdown Legacy defender receive more interest on social media. Watch for schools surrounding Nevada to come in late to Tobais’ recruitment this winter. Tobais’ quick feet, physicality, and next level strength allow him to thrive in press coverage. Good patience and a fluid change of direction shows mirroring receivers at the top of routes. Good speed, quickness, acceleration, and confidence give Tobias a chance to thrive as a man defender at the next level.

Sean Craig Sean Craig 6’3″ | 185 lbs | DB Liberty | 2025 State NV is one of the most versatile defenders in Nevada’s 2025 class. Sean has visited Arizona this fall, and I would expect him to make more campus visits before the winter gets here. Good size, strength, and tackling ability highlight Sean’s ability to play all over a college defense. Sean’s instincts and good makeup speed shows attacking threats that are not in the vicinity of his zone. Coaches like Sean’s production and effort on punt team, highlighting his potential to contribute early on special teams at the next level.
