He shifts from the edge rusher to the linebacker positions with little difficulty. Last week, the Greenwood prospect earned a scholarship from Arkansas State University. He plays with good speed and swarms to the ball carrier. Smith does a great job of defeating blocks and hauling down the ball carrier. Smith is also an impressive player when it comes to dropping back into coverage. The Parkview linebacker earned a scholarship offer from the University of Arkansas late last week. He has the speed and coverage ability to cause plenty of problems for opposing wide receivers. The talented Little Rock Southwest product has earned a scholarship offer from the Missouri Tigers. Hampton has the arm strength to stretch the field. Meanwhile, he is a good enough athlete that he can extend the play in order to make the throw down the field. He knows when to escape the pocket and use his legs to pick up first downs. Hampton had the opportunity over the weekend to visit Mississippi State and pay a visit to the Bulldogs.
