As mentioned last week as a player to watch, Cormac is on the verge of surpassing the 1000 yard mark as long as his team continues their success through the playoffs. With 902 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, Cormac has played a pivotal role in this explosive offense.
Westwood has one of the deadliest QBs in the state in Robbie Carcich Robbie Carcich 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Westwood Regional | 2024 State NJ . Leading the team to an undefeated season, Robbie has been able to take command of his offense and thrive from the QB position. Robbie is nimble in the pocket and is able to evade tacklers, giving his men time to get open downfield. He is surrounded by talented pass catchers, and it has show with his 1559 yards and 16 touchdowns through the air. More impressive, he is extremely accurate, only throwing 1 interception on the season. Robbie needs to be shadowed when in the pocket, because he has great vision and the ability to take off with it. In 2023 he has rushed for 556 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Sparta’s Shane Hoover Shane Hoover 6’2″ | 160 lbs | QB Sparta | 2026 NJ has led the team through back to back impressive upsets against Newton and Hillside. The 2026 QB has been impressive in the pocket, tossing for 983 yards and 11 touchdowns. Sparta is carrying momentum into their matchup against West Morris, who also had a major upset in the quarterfinals of the playoffs this past weekend.
Watchung Hills has a QB with arguably the best size in the state. When Aleks Sitkowski Aleks Sitkowski 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Watchung Hills | 2024 NJ is on the field, you will find very few players that outsize him. A player that is dominant on the ground and through the air, Aleks has led his team through an impressive regular season and will look to make a deep push in the playoffs.
A rocket of an arm, Aleks is able to get the ball to his receivers quickly. He puts enough zip on the ball to get it to the sideline and away from the defender. So far this year, Aleks has thrown for 1470 yards and 15 touchdowns. With the ball in his hands, the Colgate commit essentially acts like a power running back and runs through and over defenders. He has ran for 566 yards and 12 touchdowns so far this season.
Ramapo has one of the top throwers in the state. The senior QB, Landon DePrima, has unleashed an aerial assault on defensive units this year, throwing for 2133 yards and 31 touchdowns. He is a very accurate deep ball thrower, having the ability to hit his target in stride. Landon is also a deceivingly quick runner, and has strong legs that keeps him moving through arm tackles. The Harvard commit has ran for 543 yards and 6 touchdowns in his senior year so far.
