Prep Redzone has the details…
Nykahi Davenport Nykahi Davenport 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Roswell | 2024 State GA – Roswell
One of the leading rushers from 6A last season, Davenport is a tackle-breaking machine who is hoping to lead the Roswell Hornets to a 6A title later this year. He’s been one of the more productive backs in Georgia over the last two years and continues to run through defenses on a consistent basis. So far this season, the 6-foot-0 195-pound back has rushed for 1,140 yards and 19 touchdowns with an outstanding 11.1 yards per carry average. He’s rushed for over 100 yards in his last five games and has scored a touchdown in every game but two. He’s an easy D1-caliber back who currently leads 6A in rushing mid-way through the season. He’s also helped lead Roswell to an 8-1 record.
Ousmane Kromah Ousmane Kromah 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lee County | 2025 State GA – Lee County
Arguably the most talented running back all across Georgia, Kromah is a back that brings plenty of size and speed in his 6-foot-1 215-pound frame. He’s an all-around back who can break tackles and out-run defenders on any particular play. A high four-star prospect, the Lee County (GA) standout is showing why he has an incredibly impressive offer list as a junior. The big-time back has rushed for 1,124 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s also averaging just over 100 yards per carry. Through his first eight games, Kromah has rushed for over 100 yards in five of them. His biggest game came against Houston County where he rushed for 327 yards and four touchdowns in a big 44-25 win. IF he continues his dominant play, Kromah could push for 5-star status down the road.
MJ Spurlin MJ Spurlin 6'2" | 240 lbs | LB Jackson County | 2024 State GA – Jackson County
A big, bowling ball of a back at 6-foot-3 240-pounds, Spurlin is a tackle-breaking back who consistently bounces off defenders on a weekly basis. He’s been incredibly productive this season as a senior at Jackson County, proving to be one of the biggest, toughest backs to tackle not only in the Athens-area, but across the state in the 2024 class. The senior has rushed for 915 yards so far this season with 11 touchdowns, averaging 101 yards per game. He can get tough yards up the middle and does a good job of falling forward at the end of runs. He’s rushed for over 100 yards in five games this year while scoring a touchdown in five separate games as well. He’s the third-leading rusher in 6A right now.
Austin Guest Austin Guest 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Creekview | 2025 State GA – Creekview
One of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in Georgia, Guest is having an excellent junior season so far, leading the Grizzlies to an impressive 6-2 record so far. He’s been effective with his arm, but Guest has also shown the ability to take off and make plays with his legs. The 5-foot-11 175-pounder has rushed for an eye-opening 911 yards so far along with 12 touchdowns. He reads the field and knows how to take off down the field when he sees an opening. He runs the Creekview offense well, and it’s one that allows him to take advantage of his legs. He’s a natural runner with impressive burst up the field. He’s run for over 115 yards in five of his eight games this year, scoring a touchdown in every game but two. He’s running wild, and he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
