Week 5 was another full of standout performances across every corner of Louisiana high school football. DeReyon Jenkins | 6-3, 200 DE | Salmen (2025)   Points were difficult to come by in the Spartans' 9-8 defeat of McDonogh 35, and the junior edge rusher managed to score the game-winning touchdown with his scoop and 43-yard score of a fumbled punt snap. John Martinez | 5-8, 175 ATH | St. Michael (2025)   The Warriors continued their undefeated start to the season with a 45-27 defeat of Plaquemine behind 205 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries by Martinez.
