Damyon Pearson - Brookwood

A tough, fundamentally sound cornerback on the rise in Gwinnett County, Pearson is a 5-foot-10 160-pound defensive back that folks need to get to know soon. An instinctual defender with good size for his age, Pearson is a sound tackler for a sophomore with a bright future ahead of him. He reacts quickly in coverage and closes well on the receiver when the ball is on it's way. He's not afraid of contact, making 33 of them so far this season. He plays against some tough 7A competition on a weekly basis and has more than held his own for just a sophomore. His recruitment is picking up, and Pearson saw an offer come his way this past week from Central Michigan. If he continues to improve, Pearson could see more come his way sooner than later.

One of the top pass-rushing defenders in Gwinnett County in the 2026 class, Luckie has college football bloodlines and might be on the verge of seeing his recruitment take off. The big 6-foot-5 250-pounder earned an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs back in the summer, and this past week he reeled in another offer from Toledo. He's big, strong, and already looks the part of a D1-caliber prospect. He's quick off the ball and knows how to deliver a big hit on the quarterback. He's made 38 tackles this season and an eye-opening 21 TFLs. Just a sophomore, Luckie has lived in the backfield this season and has done it against some excellent 7A competition. His stock is about to take off, and more offers should be coming in very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090774' first='Cortez' last='Redding'] - Jonesboro

An explosive, hard-hitting defender who plays with an edge, it's easy to see why sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1090774' first='Cortez' last='Redding'] could see his recruitment start to soar. The physical, playmaking defender earned a new offer from Toledo recently, and it certainly won't be his last. The 6-foot-0 170-pounder from the Atlanta area has made 46 tackles already this year with 6 TFLs and one INT. He shows really good instincts for his age and reacts quickly against the run. He can fly into the backfield and doesn't miss any tackles. He's delivers a tackle with authority and has been one of the better defenders this season on an incredibly talented Jonesboro defense. He's playing great football, and he could see some Power 5 interest and possible offers come his way down the road.
