2024 5’11 170 QB – Tristan Evans Tristan Evans 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Freedom | 2024 VA -Trujillo – Freedom
The former Virginia Player of the Year and state champion, Tristan Evans Tristan Evans 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Freedom | 2024 VA , delivered a spectacular performance for Freedom in their dominant 73-0 victory over the Hylton Bulldogs. He completed 13/16 passes for 223 yards and, and he scored a whopping 5 total touchdowns on the day. Evans-Trujillo connected with four different pass catchers on his touchdown throws, and he also ended the game with a very special 161.5 overall QBR. It’s safe to say that the Player of the Game Award most definitely belongs to Tristan Evans Tristan Evans 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Freedom | 2024 VA -Trujillo of Freedom, and he’ll look to earn the award in back to back games and complete the Eagles’ perfect season versus St. Michael the Archangel this Friday night.
2024 6’3 190 WR – Aaron Duncan Aaron Duncan 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Freedom | 2024 VA – Freedom
Aaron Duncan Aaron Duncan 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Freedom | 2024 VA led the Freedom Eagles’ receiving corps in receptions, with 7, and he also added 81 yards and a touchdown on the day. Duncan absolutely put forth one of his best statistical efforts of the season in this game, and he demonstrated yet again that he is a primary receiver on this team. Averaging more than 10 yards per reception, Duncan was a walking first down against Hylton, and their defense simply could not contain him. His production and efficiency has seriously helped bolster this team to an undefeated 9-0 record, and I believe we will see yet another stellar performance from Aaron Duncan Aaron Duncan 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Freedom | 2024 VA versus St. Michael the Archangel in Freedom’s season finale and perfect season clinching game. 2025 5’10 185 RB – Jeffrey Overton Jeffrey Overton 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Freedom | 2025 VA Jr – Freedom
Jeffrey Overton Jeffrey Overton 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Freedom | 2025 VA Jr cemented his status as the #1 running back for the Freedom Eagles in Friday night’s win. While he only carried the ball 4 times, he earned an eye-opening 139 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns with those carries. Overton could not be stopped by the Hylton defense, and his dominant display of running back play over the weekend must not go overlooked. Jeffrey Overton Jeffrey Overton 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Freedom | 2025 VA Jr is clearly one of the elite running backs from VA’s 2025 class, and it’s essential that scouts treat his recruitment as such!
2025 6’0 165 WR/DB – Carelton Preston – Freedom
3 star prospect and two-way phenom, Carelton “Juju” Preston, performed beautifully against the Hylton Bulldogs, he really showcased why he is such a highly recruited player. Preston was the overall receiving TD leader in the state of Virginia in 2022, and he added another touchdown over the weekend. He also hauled-in 3 receptions for nearly one hundred yards, making him one of the most productive overall performers of the day. Carelton Preston has already received elite power five conference offers from programs such as Wake Forest, Pitt, and ECU, and his recruitment must be taken very seriously!

2024 6’0 180 WR – Kameron Courtney – Freedom – Indiana
In Friday night’s game, Kameron Courtney showed everyone exactly why he’s headed to the Big10 next Fall! He only caught 2 balls, but, racking-up 33 all-purpose yards along the way, he scored on every reception. Courtney proved that he’s ready for next level competition, and it’s extremely evident that his wide receiver skills will translate very well to the collegiate game. All of Indiana Hoosier nation should be on their feet and cheering for Kameron Courtney already, because he and his Freedom Eagles team are playing championship football right now! They’ll have a chance to complete the perfect season this weekend versus St. Michael the Archangel on Friday night!
