The regular season went out in a blaze of glory.

From a team going undefeated to others clinching playoff berths, the CSRA had quite a few standout performances before heading into the postseason.

Not surprisingly, quite a few were involved in a certain memorable game in Graniteville:

[player_tooltip player_id='91348' first='Traevon' last='Dunbar'] RB, Midland Valley – (Pictured left) No surprise here. The Shrine Bowl running back stepped up big for the Mustangs. He galloped and rumbled his way to 322 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the 49-48 victory over North Augusta. This included two 80-yard scoring runs as the Mustangs completed an undefeated season and won the Region IV-4A title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1142590' first='Ashton' last='Mozone'], Ryan Fail, Christian Fail, Demarque Ford, Peyton Owenby and [player_tooltip player_id='267450' first='Braydn' last='Kesselring'] OL, Midland Valley – The unit was responsible for helping the Mustangs amass 505 total yards of offense. Yet, it's Mozone's blocked field goal attempt on the final play of Touchstone Energy Bowl selection [player_tooltip player_id='346194' first='Jack' last='Stevens'] that helped snap a 24-game losing streak to the Yellow Jackets.

Mason Gomillion LB, Midland Valley – (Pictured right) The junior linebacker made a huge play in the third quarter. On the ensuing kickoff, he stripped North Augusta returner [player_tooltip player_id='595703' first='Beans' last='Hunt'] of the football and scampered 50 yards for a touchdown to give the Mustangs the lead for the fourth time in the game.

Corey Tillman QB, North Augusta – The senior did almost everything on offense for the Yellow Jackets in defeat. In front of well over 5,000 mostly loud Midland Valley fans, he threw for 240 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='272702' first='Jevon' last='Edwards'] RB, South Aiken – If not for the significance of the Midland Valley/North Augusta matchup, the junior's performance would get even more of the spotlight. Against winless rival Aiken, he rushed for a school-record 443 yards and six touchdowns in the come-from-behind 42-41 victory.

Quan Edmond QB, Strom Thurmond – The senior amassed 203 total yards and five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing) in the 43-8 victory to close out a Region III-2A championship season with a win over Fox Creek.

[player_tooltip player_id='997288' first='Nick' last='Folk'] RB, Bamberg-Ehrhardt – Coming back from an injury, the senior rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown in the 28-10 win over Whale Branch to clinch the Region VII-A title.

[player_tooltip player_id='605527' first='Jaquel' last='Holman'] RB, Blackville-Hilda – The junior rushed for 123 yards and five touchdowns on just nine carries in the 50-14 win over archrival Williston-Elko.
