Mason Boles Mason Boles 5’10” | 190 lbs | RB Eureka | 2024 IL had one of the top performances in the nation not just Illinois on Friday. Eureka relied on the run game to get them going in a muddy game. Boles delivered on his 27 carries going for 434 yards and 7 touchdowns. A record breaking performance in both yards and touchdowns. Boles offensive line was able to open up holes and he was able to do the rest running hard all night long.

Nolan Mrozowski
Nolan Mrozowski was another running back in Illinois that had a monster night on the ground. The Rockets took care of Glenwood 63-21 with Mrozowski being a big reason for the win. He just needed 10 carries to rush for 147 yards and 5 touchdowns. Mrozowski is versatile running back with good feet and runs downhill when he sees daylight.
Myson Johnson-Cook Myson Johnson-Cook 6’2″ | 200 lbs | ATH IL is one of the top 2027 prospects in the country. The division 1 running back’s performance on Friday night showed everyone why. MacArthur fed the freshman the ball and he answered the call with over 120 yards rushing and 3 touchdown against Sacred-Heart Griffin. There is no doubt he will be a household name for years to come.

Glenbard East had a big victory this weekend taking down their rival Glenbard South who entered the game undefeated. Glenabard East won the game 28-14 with Matt Larson leading the way on the ground. The speedy senior running back rushed for 177 yards on 26 carries looking explosive with the ball in his hand. He does a great job making defenders miss and using his speed to get the edge on outside runs.
Cary-Grove is no stranger to pounding the ball and that is exactly what they did on Friday night. Taking down Crystal Lake South 47-21 and controlling majority of the game with their ground attack. Logan Abrams Logan Abrams 6’3″ | 220 lbs | DL Cary-Grove | 2026 State IL had himself a night at his fullback position rushing for 189 yards and 4 touchdowns. Abrams is a throwback player who runs the ball like a freight train running through defenders and always falling forward for extra yards.
