Lugolobi comes in as the top ranked LB and #6 overall in the 2026 state player rankings. At 6’2” 220 lbs. he’s a versatile defender that is effective from multiple positions. He can line up at any LB spot or come off the edge as an explosive read rush end. Flashes good natural strength at the POA in both his hands and lower body. Uses it well to fight off contact and shed blockers as he locates the ball carrier. High football IQ, takes good angles, and really like his lateral quickness to redirect and pursue. A three down LB that shows good awareness and ability to close dropping back into zone coverage. Holds four D1 offers to date with three P5 and one G5.

Thomas holds the #7 overall spot and is the #2 ATH with his ability to be a difference maker in all three phases. At 6’1” 160 lbs. he’s an exceptional athlete with good length and growth potential. Flashes good all-around game speed, explosive quickness/acceleration in the short area and the sustained second gear to breakaway from defenders as a WR and returner. Plus ball skills on both sides, shows good judgement and tracking ability with the ball in the air. Like his timing and how he attacks the ball in the air, especially at the high point. Really impressive natural ability and skillset with strong genes, Dad played CB in the league and is a DB coach at Texas.

Denmark is a gifted athlete that excels on both sides of the ball at Spanaway Lake but projects as a DB at the college level. At 6’0” 170 lbs. he’s got good length and shows great natural coverage instincts and anticipation to quickly recognize routes and jump into the throwing lane. Smooth in the hips he’s got plus change of direction and lateral quickness to flip his hips and cover the whole field. Extremely fast out of his transition to break on the ball and close space in a hurry. Strong ball skills and hands to compete for the ball at the catch point. Does a good job going through the hands of the WR to break up passes. He’s the top ranked 2026 DB in the state with three FBS offers and more on the way.

Mareko comes in at #9 overall and the second ranked LB in the positional rankings. He’s got a strong and well-built frame for a young LB at 6’1” 210 lbs. with room to grow. Plays fast and physical bringing strong contact to every tackle with good pad level and leverage at the POA. Does a good job driving through contact and wrapping up to finish opponents to the ground. Very efficient with his movement limiting false steps. Shows good eye discipline being patient with his reads but has good reactionary quickness to trigger and work downhill at the ball carrier. He’s rangy and relentless in pursuit showing he can chase from the backside and sideline to sideline. Picked up two Mountain West offers in early 2023 but should see increased attention as the recruiting cycle progresses.

King is a dynamic athlete that can make explosive game breaking plays anytime he touches the ball. Comes in as PRZ top ranked 2026 RB but shows good positional versatility to play multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Flashes great elusiveness and ability to make people miss with his start/stop speed and sudden lateral cuts to work around defenders but also is a physical runner when he needs to be. He’s creative and savvy once he gets into space with the homerun speed to finish in the endzone. A complete back that can also run sharp routes and catch the ball out of the backfield. Good balance and leverage to absorb and run through contact. His versatility and play making ability will lead to more offers as he’s able to showcase his talent.
