These prospects had quality 2022 seasons and were standouts on film. They’ve begun to take the next step this fall and are quite intriguing recruits for the next level. Their development throughout the 2023 season will be key.

WR: Colby Johnson, 6’3″ 175, Robert Bateman Secondary
Johnson has good length, refined route-running ability, and excellent acceleration after the catch. He can make you miss in space, has strong hands through contact, and provides matchup issues working out of the slot. On defense, he’s a physical tackler in run support, shows great patience working his backpedal, and uses his long arms to knock away passes.
QB: Chase Batke Chase Batke 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Yorkton | 2024 State CAD 6’1″ 185, Yorkton
On film, Batke throws well off balance, he puts enough air under his deep ball to allow his target to glide underneath it and can challenge nosey defensive backs with his arm talent. He shows excellent touch on throws of twenty yards plus, his feet and arm are always in rhythm, and is a capable runner between the tackles.
OL: Zye Louison Zye Louison 6'7" | 350 lbs | OL Yorkton | 2024 State CAD , 6’7″ 350, Henry Wise Wood
A massive human who moves pretty well for his size. Zye engulfs opponents at the point of attack, he can easily turn a defender to open up clear running lanes and has paws that are tough to shed once he locks on. He stays hip to hip on double teams and can displace down defenders with his linemate. He needs to work on his pad level, initial punch, and knee drive, but his athleticism & size make him an interesting developmental guard for the next level.
ATH: Zeke Jackson, 6’3″ 260, University of Alberta
Zeke plays with tremendous effort and can cause knockback off the snap. He’s a highly effective run blocker who plays with superb hand placement and looks to bury his opponent into the turf. He has the body control to sustain second-level blocks and has a potent punch that comes to light from time to time.
WR: Raphael Lavictoire, 6′ 200, Academie les Estacades
This young man attacks the football at its highest point and has the body control to adjust & make tough catches mid-flight. He’s a natural deep-ball tracker who snatches the football away from defenders. He uses his body as a weapon to shield the ball from defensive backs and is dominant in 1 on 1 matchups.
