After Dumas cut the deficit to 21-14 in the second quarter, Bushland added a TD on Tanner Adams' 15-yard TD run. . .#3 Amarillo QB Will Flaming completed 12-of-18 passes for 269 yards and RB Pius Vokes rushed for 123 yards on 26 carries to lift the Sandies to a convincing win over rival Tascosa at West Texas A&M in Canyon. . .Continuing their turnaround from 2022, #4 Hereford stayed unbeaten with a 24-21 victory over rival Plainview in front of a sellout crowd of 5,000+ fans at Whiteface Stadium . . .#6 Panhandle scored on its first possession of overtime to stun Wellington and stay unbeaten (5-0). The Panthers tied the score at 32-32 in the fourth quarter when QB Broxton Robinson connected with Dylan Pohlmeier on a 12-yard touchdown pass. In OT, Wellington got the ball first but couldn't score. Panhandle won the game when Rush Walterscheid caught a screen pass and raced into the end zone. . .Childress snapped a 2-game losing streak with a big victory over Bowie. Bobcats QB Drake Rabe threw for 237 yards and 2 TD.. .West Plains QB Reid Macon passed for 351 yards and 3 TD and RB Jordo Hernandez rushed for 200+ yards to lead West Plains past Lubbock Estacado in a high-scoring game (teams combined for 85 points). </p>
