Week 6 is on the clock for a lot of schools who don't have bye weeks this week with one in particular as they've had a recent transfer make his way all the way from Ohio to the great state of Texas.

San Antonio Brandeis 3-2 vs SA Johnson 4-0

Now this will be a game that comes down to will, coaching, scheme and just flat out who wants it more. Both teams have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball regardless of Brandeis record. Johnson 2025 QB [player_tooltip player_id='921479' first='Ty' last='Hawkins'] is going to do what he does and command that offense but Brandeis 2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='626822' first='Lincoln' last='Philyaw'] is not the type to go away quietly so expect for this to be a great Saturday night matchup in the 210.

Kerrville Tivy 5-0 vs Bastrop 3-2

Kerville Tivy is coming off an impressive nail biter of a win over Liberty Hill 34-28 last week and takes on Bastrop who's coming off a 63-22 loss vs Pieper in week 5. Tivy is having a historical season thus far but looks to prove to Bastrop that losing to them last season 30-27 will not happen again this year. This game is always an edge of the seat type of game and I don't expect this year to be any different.

China Spring 3-2 vs Cornerstone 1-5

China Spring is looking to regroup and bounce back against Cornerstone after a heart breaking home 38-22 loss to Parish Episcopal last week. Cornerstone is 1-5 on the season but looks to welcome UNT commit QB [player_tooltip player_id='628988' first='Cash' last='McCollum'] and China Spring to the Alamo city and send them back home with another L is the loss column. This game will come down to who wins the turnover battle and who can hold on to the ball.

Conroe 3-2 vs 2-2 Oakridge

Conroe looks to bounce back after a devastating game vs the Woodlands. Conroe has a new addition to the team who I'm not sure if he's playing this week but with adding [player_tooltip player_id='284947' first='Dorian' last='Brew'] to that already stacked secondary the future is bright for Conroe as well as the remainder of this season. Conroe has to prove a point and make a statement this game with the mindset to get back on track one game at a time.
