Here's a look at several top performances across Spartanburg and Laurens counties worthy of Prep Redzone Game Balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1144103' first='James' last='Oates'] and [player_tooltip player_id='272705' first='Armoni' last='Weaver'] Byrnes

Oates made nine tackles and returned a game-clinching interception for a touchdown, while Weaver forced a fumble recovered it, and returned it for a score in Rebels' 21-9 win over Spartanburg. Byrnes' two defensive scores were the difference in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664350' first='Nick' last='Means'] and Jarvis Pearson RBs, Dorman

Means had 21 rushes for 113 yards and Pearson notched 93 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries as the Cavaliers won a 14-10 thriller over Boiling Springs to start 1-0 in Region II-5A.

Matthai Scott RB, Chapman

Scott didn't have an eye-popping night in the Panthers' blowout win over Carolina, with just six carries for 37 yards in a short night for the Panthers' starters. However, three of those carries went for scores as Chapman put up 57 points on the night.

Mason Dixon K, Broome

Dixon has been a reliable weapon this year for the Centurions, which is huge because they score a LOT. Friday night, he finished 4-for-4 on extra points and added a field goal as Broome started 1-0 in region play with a big win over Travelers Rest.

[player_tooltip player_id='949764' first='Kadon' last='Crawford'] WR, Clinton

Any time you put your name in the record book for Clinton football - which just celebrated 100 years of football - it's an accomplishment. Crawford is now the Red Devils' all-time single game receiving leader, hauling in seven catches for 191 yards and a score.
