Brandeis vs Lee
With a big 27-7 district win versus Marshall, Brandeis adds another win to its win column and looks to keep that current win streak alive as they face off against Lee on Sept 15. Look to see senior DB Jacob Voss Jacob Voss 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Louis D. Brandeis | 2024 State TX in on a lot of plays as he just has a nose for finding the ball.
Warren vs Jay
Both teams are 3-0 headed into Saturday and with Warren led by sensational senior QB Antonio Meza, coming off a huge 73-20 victory over Holmes last week this week looks to be a shootout between two undefeated teams. Jay is not to be taken lightly as they’re averaging 40 pts a game and looks to prove they are the #1 team in the district. This game will be must see tv as Gustafson Stadium this Saturday.
Johnson vs Churchill
Both teams are undefeated going into district play Johnson led by none other than TCU commit QB Ty Hawkins Ty Hawkins 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB San Antonio Johnson | 2025 State TX looks to help lead his team to 3-0 as they face a tough 3-0 Churchill team. This game will come down to who wins on all phases of the game Offense, Defense and Special teams. Saturday Sept 16th, 11am can’t get here quick enough for these two teams.
San Marcos vs Alexander
With the summer a few of these San Marcos student athletes had no one would’ve ever predicted they’d be 0-3 headed into this matchup vs a 1-2 Alexander. San Marcos is looking to secure its first victory of the season as they face off at home versus Alexander. Every week WR Tony Diaz has been lighting up the stats and I don’t expect this week to be any different.
New Braunfels vs Weiss
On any given Friday anything can happen and New Braunfels started off the season with a 3pt loss to a tough Denton Ryan team but seemed to bounce back the following week until week 3 when they had to face a cross town rival in New Braunfels Canyon where they loss by 4. Week 4 they face off against a tough opponent in 3-0 Weiss out of Pflugerville, Tx. Weiss looks to keep it’s win streak alive and knock off a tough New Braunfels team this week to take their win column to 4-0. This game could come down to whoever wins the turnover battle.
South San vs Southwest Legacy
Both teams are 1-2 headed into this game but someone is going to walk away at 2-2 and the other 1-3 as they’re both on a chase for state. I’m not into predictions but this will be a good one to watch as these two teams battle it out.
