Week 2 Game Balls (Virginia)

Lambert had 7 receptions and also over 100 all-purpose yards, on a evening where he was clearly on a mission to get the Vikings their first win of the season. In their thrilling victory over Gar-Field Kilmer had three total touchdowns (2 passing, 1 rushing) accounting for over 300 yards of total offense by himself. It goes without saying from me at this point, but sleep on the Cardinals at your own risk. Just because they are only in their third year of varsity football does not mean they cant compete with big boys of the conference. He is a ball-hawk reminds me of Asante Samuel in his prime where you would always see him around the football. By the end of the first quarter he had two interceptions that set the tone early in Colgan's shutout victory. He had a third one practically gift wrapped for him but could not come down the interception. While he had two awesome touchdown receptions, his work on defense saved the game as he picked off two passes including one right at goal line to preserve the Eagles lead. Reid is another difference maker and has been doing that for the past few seasons for the reigning state champions. Mr. Hill lead his Vikings to a dominant 41-6 victory over Unity Reed last Thursday, in the process he threw for 5 touchdown passes! This was a good defense he was facing in Unity Reed, when I watched them up close two weeks ago.
