Here's a look at some outstanding performances from Week 2 in the Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Laurens areas, worthy of PRZ game balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012830' first='Tushawan' last='Richardson'] Clinton

The Red Devils' QB did something on Friday that's not common in Clinton's run-based offense - he threw for multiple TDs. Richardson was incredibly efficient, finishing 10-for-15 for 141 yards and three scores, adding 72 yards on six carries and another score on the ground. That's a wrinkle that's going to give Clinton's opponents fits.

Josh Sims Blacksburg

Sims (pictured) had a huge night in Blacksburg's big win over Cherryville (N.C.). Sims was 15-24 on the night, throwing for 344 yards and six touchdowns on the night. Cam Cobb caught seven balls for 173 yards and two sores, while Ziyon Harris caught five for 123 yards and two more.

Kaylob Blanton Chesnee

The Eagles bounced back from a Week One loss with a hard-fought win over Walhalla. Blanton helped lead the way, with 98 total yards in the Eagles' new offensive look. On defense, he picked off a pass and returned it for a TD in Chesnee's 20-10 win.

[player_tooltip player_id='272705' first='Armoni' last='Weaver'], [player_tooltip player_id='272708' first='Chamarryus' last='Bomar'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1036721' first='Tre' last='Segarra'] Byrnes

It's hard to separate players when each had so much to do with the Rebels' win. Weaver was everywhere, blowing up screen passes on defense, returning kicks, and catching touchdowns. He had seven receptions for 113 yards and a score. Bomar played plenty of defense, too, and still contributed six catches for 95 yards and a score on offense. And when Byrnes needed to grind clock and put the game away, Segarra took over. He rushed for 148 yards, including a 53-yard fourth-quarter score that iced the contest. If the Rebels can maintain that kind of offensive balance, you'll see them in late November.

Ry'shaun Morgan Boiling Springs

In a game that pointed to Chapman's physical rushing attack doing some work, it was the Bulldogs' Morgan who packed his lunch pail. Morgan carried 18 times for 130 yards and scored twice as the Bulldogs moved to 2-1 on the season ahead of this week's matchup with Hillcrest.

[player_tooltip player_id='448239' first='Emazon' last='Littlejohn'] and [player_tooltip player_id='473029' first='Jaiden' last='McDowell'] Gaffney

Both these guys continued their early season production in a big way in Gaffney's win over South Pointe. Littlejohn had five catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, while McDowell rushed 18 times for 64 yards and notched six catches for 106 yards out of the backfield. McDowell now has more than 400 yards of total offense and seven TDs on the season, while Littlejohn has 295 receiving yards and five scores.

TJ Johnson Spartanburg

Johnson helped the Vikings' offense find a spark when they had to have it in a 14-13 win over Broome. He ran for 92 yards and a score on 13 carries, and finished 15-of-18 for 149 yards through the air.
