Top 2025 Defensive Midseason Films

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are some players from the 2025 class that really impressed me with their film. I saw some great things out of some good players. I think some of these guys will see themselves get some offers soon. We need to talk about some of these guys more. Let's check it out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>TayQuon McKinney</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I am a real big fan of this young man. He is playing the end position in high school because it is what his team need to win more rings. However, I think this young man is going to be a hybrid linebacker/safety on the next level. He is super athletic. I think that he is a guy that is going to be able to line up at a cover two safety. I also think that he is a guy that can line up in the box and help on the run. When you watch his film, you can automatically see how he is so deadly when he blitzes from the end. This is a guy to know. He is the kind of player that you can allow to spy a mobile quarterback.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='653168' first='Noel' last='Estrada']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Estrada is a player from St. Martin that we need to talk about more. He is a player that is definitely going to be a linebacker on the next level. He knows how to be very useful in zone coverage. When he attacks a hole, he has a nose for finding the football. Estrada is going to be a division one linebacker. It is going to be interesting to see how he continues to grow.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1127532' first='Jahmani' last='Washington']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Washington is a player that is very exceptional at his position. One thing I love about him is his energy. He is the kind of guy that is going to give his all every play. Washington also has some decent speed. He ran a 4.75 at a Prep Redzone Showcase in Nashville. When I watched his film, I noticed that he is getting better in coverage. He is a guy that I will continue to keep up with this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jacari Owens</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Owens is a player that we know is going to come up to make big hits. He has shown that week in and week out. Owens has been seen doing well in coverage his sophomore season. There are only a few more things to fix before he starts seeing a lot of offers come on in.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
