Today, we will be continuing my “Stock Up Performers” series as we focus on the top performers from week five of the season.
At the top of my list of notable performers is Trajdon Davis Trajdon Davis 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Henderson County | 2025 State KY , a 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback at Henderson County High School. Davis has been nearly unstoppable at the helm of the Colonels’ offense, throwing for 48 completions out of 95 attempts for 686 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition to excellent footwork and quick execution off the snap, Davis impresses me with his composure under pressure and ability to connect with his receivers on deep shots down the field.
Highlights
I am additionally impressed with Caden Woolum Caden Woolum 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Belfry | 2024 State KY , a 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete at Belfry High School. Woolum has made his presence known for the Pirates down the stretch, recording 500 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground on 43 rush attempts. Woolum also hauled in eight receptions for 197 yards and another three scores. What makes Woolum so efficient is his physical edge, utilizing his speed and toughness to bully the defense in the pocket and along the edge.
Claiming the number three spot on my list is Devontre Patterson Devontre Patterson 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Warren Central | 2024 State KY , a 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete at Warren Central High School. Patterson has been an explosive offensive weapon for the Dragons this season, picking up 30 rush attempts for 218 yards and three touchdowns as well as six receptions for 174 yards and another score. Patterson stands out due to his durable edge and speed off the snap, blasting defenders in the pocket as well as showcasing his ability to escape into the backfield.
Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is Tykeem Taul-Williams Tykeem Taul-Williams 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR Bardstown | 2025 KY , a 6-foot-1, 160-pound wide receiver at Bardstown High School. Taul-Williams has been a major difference-maker for the Tigers down the stretch, hauling in three receptions for 93 yards and one touchdown. What impresses me most about Taul-Williams is his breakaway speed, his ability to match physicality in the backfield and his ability to stay in front of the ball at all times.
Coming in at number five on my list of standouts is Sawyer Horton Sawyer Horton 6'2" | 215 lbs | QB Lincoln County | 2024 KY , a 6-foot-2, 215-pound quarterback at Lincoln County High School. Horton has established himself as a major gamechanger under center for the Patriots this season, throwing for 30 completions out of 61 attempts for 446 yards and three touchdowns. Horton also made 44 rush attempts for 165 yards and five touchdowns. Horton stands out due to his electric speed, ability to escape the defense with his legs and hit his receivers in stride.

Another highly impactful prospect worth mentioning is Blake Caudill Blake Caudill 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL Pikeville | 2025 State KY , a 6-foot-0, 220-pound running back at Pikeville High School. Caudill has been a significant ground weapon for the Panthers so far this season, picking up 33 rush attempts for 243 yards and one touchdown. In addition to outstanding versatility, what stands out about Caudill is his durability, quick execution and his ability to stay on his feet under heavy defensive pressure and physical contact from the opposition.
