Cash McKie
Cash McKie
McKie had a monster week 5 where he rushed for 238 yards with three touchdowns in the huge win over Caldwell. McKie is a well put together back standing at 6’1” 180 lbs he is able to run through and around defenders. Has a low center of gravity that allows him to bounce off would be tacklers and make huge plays in the running game. Has a knack for picking up big chunks of yards and finding the smallest hole to fit through as he breaks into the second level. He was able to use those skill during his big time performance this week and we are looking forward to what he will put together next week.
Grayson Benitez
Grayson Benitez
Benitez had one of the best weeks of anyone in the state of Idaho where he rushed for 343 yards with a whopping seven touchdowns in Notus’ big win over Rimrock. There seems like there is nothing this kid cant do on a football field whether it is run, or catch Benitez is a monster threat for anyone who runs up against Notus this season. With his game breaking ability Benitez is able to really control the game and has a hand in almost everything that Notus does on offense. He is a player to keep and eye on this season for sure but right now is on the top of our list as a player of the week.
Trey Bauer
Trey Bauer
Bauer had a huge night as well on the ground during the week 5 win over Salmon River. Bauer rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns on the night but where he made an even bigger impact was on the defensive side of the football where he had 13 tackles. Using his athleticism is nothing new to Bauer who has been a force on both side of the football all season. A player with a high football IQ he is able to not only read blocks on the offensive side of the football but also disrupt blocks on the defensive side of the ball as well. He is only going to get better and better as the season progresses into the late season push. We wont be shock to keep seeing his name in the papers and social media every week.
