One of the toughest players you have ever watched Brennan does all of his work in between the tackles for Emmett. His bruising running style creates massive problems for defenses as he does not shy away from contact and always seems to pick up an extra yard. Brennan really gets things started for Emmett especially in the running game where he uses elite vision to read and set up blocks. He might not be a top end burner but he makes up for it with a high football IQ and elite leadership ability. The underclassman has rushed for 528 yards and five touchdowns on the season. Newton uses his quickness to really rip off big runs for Ririe where he is able to make defenders miss in the hole along with the open field. He is able to use his speed to get around the edge and shows the ability to catch the football out of the backfield as well. He does a good job of using patience to read holes and set up blocks while having enough burst to make it through the second level.
