Brooks performed like the top recruit that he is. He had a performance with impact plays on both sides of the ball.

On offense, the day started out rough. Millville made a conscious effort to get him the ball but being the level of player that he is the Irvington defense focused on him and did their best to take him out of the game.

However, he stayed with it as Irvington git wrapped the game to Millville and off a turnover. Brooks scored off a scramble drill where he got open in the endzone for a touchdown.

On defense, Brooks flashed those high-end instincts and agility as he jumped a terrible pass that ultimately led to a pick-six to seal the game from Millville.

[player_tooltip player_id='218554' first='Lotzeir' last='Brooks'] at 5'10 165 pounds showed the entire skillset in this game. It was showing that he could be a top recruit for offense and defense.

Zamot may have been the player of the game due to his contributions on both sides of the ball. Zamot seemed to be all over the field whether it be tackling for losses or making plays on the quarterback Zamot seemed to do no wrong.

He made his imprint on the game, by not only causing a fumble but returning it or a touchdown. In addition, he caught a touchdown pass right before the half ended to give Millville the momentum.

His stat line ended as A fumble recovery or a touchdown, a sack, 12 tackles, and 4.5 tackles for loss a dominant performance by the junior.

Irvington had a tough day all around and did not have many bright spots. But at the beginning of the second half. The 6'3 long edge rusher forced a fumble that started the second half.

Although, it gave Irvington a rush of momentum it was to no avail as they couldn't get anything going offensively. But Lesaine as a two-way player should as an edge rusher so that he can use his frame and explosivness to create turnovers.

Irvington's defense got no help from their offense at all. A lot of the pressure was put on the defense. Robinson was a dominant force in the middle, as Millville was able to establish a decent running game Robinson did everything he could to stifle their run game.

With a big thick body in the middle, he has a solid get-off at the beginning of the snap and finishes plays with one one-on-one tackles. He caused as much havoc as he could in this performance.
